The sun shone brightly in the backyard as Neha and Nandini played tag with Sanjana. Laughter filled the air, and joy was contagious.

Arav stood at a distance, mesmerized by Neha's radiant smile.

Niranjan, too, was captivated – by Nandini's carefree spirit.

Aryan noticed his friends' fascination and grinned.

"Looks like someone's smitten," Aryan whispered to Arav, nodding toward Niranjan.

Arav followed his gaze and chuckled.

"I think, Niranjan's got a thing for Nandini."

Niranjan shook his head, "Noo! I was... I was watching, Sanju."

"Ok we will believe it!" said Arav, mockingly.

"Ah!! You.. I told you I was watching Sanjana... Ahhh!! Leave it.."

The boys reconvened, brainstorming investigation strategies.

Night descended, and the mansion grew quiet.

Unknown to the group, Mr. and Mrs. Singh sprinted through the mansion's gardens, desperate to escape Niranjan's team.

"We have to get out of here, now!" Mr. Singh urged, grasping his wife's hand.

Mrs. Singh's eyes darted back at the mansion. "This is madness. We'll never make it."

Mr. Singh made her sit in the car and started driving. "Mr. R will send his men. He'll protect us."

Mrs. Singh's skepticism was noticeable. "You believe that? We've never even met him."

Mr. Singh's face set in determination. "He's our only hope."

As they fled through the winding roads, Mrs. Singh's doubts poured out.

"We don't even know his real name," she said, her voice laced with fear.

Mr. Singh's grip on the steering wheel tightened. "He'll come, I'm sure about that."

Mrs. Singh's words turned bitter. "And what if he doesn't? What if we're on our own?"

Suddenly, a truck careened around the bend, its headlights blinding.

"No!" Mr. Singh shouted.

The truck slammed into their car, sending metal crunching.

Mrs. Singh's scream echoed through the night.

The truck sped away, leaving the Singhs' mangled vehicle behind.

Mr. Singh roughly opened his eyes, his wife's face etched with pain.

"P...Prakriti," he stuttered.

Mrs. Singh's voice barely whispered. "I told you...Mr. R...wouldn't save us."

Everything faded to black.

The next morning, Nandini received an urgent call from the station.

"I have to go," Nandini said, rushing out.

Niranjan caught up to her.

"What's wrong?" he asked.

"An accident in the city," Nandini replied. "I'll be back soon."

Hours passed, and Nandini called Niranjan.

"Niranjan, the accident, it's Mr. and Mrs. Singh's car... they're dead."

The group rushed to the accident site, shocked.

Niranjan surveyed the wreckage.

"This isn't an accident," Niranjan said, his voice firm. "It's murder. The car's condition, the victims... it's deliberate."

Nandini's eyes narrowed.

"I found a lead," Nandini said. "Mr. Singh last spoke to someone listed as 'Mr. R'."

The team exchanged determined glances. And Nandini continued, "The Victim's bodies were sent to City Hospital. And The Postmortem report said that It was an accident."

"How can this be an accident? The condition of the car itself is clear that this isn't an accident?" added Niranjan and continued, "Who did the postmortem?"

"Dr. Akhil," said Nandini.

"Something is wrong," says Arav.  Niranjan agreed and he called everyone back to the mansion.

Niranjan gathered his team in the Living room, determination etched on their faces.

"Dr. Akhil's postmortem report is our next lead," Niranjan said.

Nandini nodded. "The inconsistencies are too glaring to ignore."

Neha leaned forward. "We need to know why Dr. Akhil's report suggests an accident."

Arav's eyes narrowed. "And if it's genuine."

Aryan's voice was laced with skepticism. "Or faked."

At the hospital, they found Dr. Akhil in his office, calm and composed.

"Dr. Akhil," Niranjan began, "we have questions about the Singh postmortem."

Dr. Akhil nodded. "Of course. I'm happy to clarify."

Nandini's voice was firm. "Our investigation suggests inconsistencies."

Dr. Akhil's expression remained unruffled. "I assure you, my report is accurate."

Neha's gaze intensified. "You're certain?"

Dr. Akhil nodded. "Yes. I conducted the postmortem myself."

Arav's eyes narrowed. "No external pressure influenced your findings?"

Dr. Akhil shook his head. "None. My report reflects the facts."

Aryan's eyes locked onto Dr. Akhil's. "No distinctions?"

Dr. Akhil's confidence was unwavering. "None. The Singhs' deaths were an unfortunate accident."

The team exchanged skeptical glances.

Niranjan's voice was measured. "We'll review the evidence again."

Dr. Akhil nodded. "I welcome any scrutiny."

As they left the hospital, Niranjan's team seemed uncertain.

"Either Dr. Akhil is telling the truth," Nandini said, "or he's an excellent liar."

Neha's eyes narrowed. "We need concrete evidence."

Arav's voice was resolute. "We'll find it."

"Can't we check the CCTV we installed in our mansion? We might get any clue related to this," said Sanjana. And everyone agreed to her suggestion and checked the CCTV.

"See, Mr. Singh, talking on his phone," said Nandini, "He looked worried"

"Yes... And here, Mrs. Singh is arguing with Mr. Singh," added Aryan.

Niranjan agreed to them and turned off the clips they got from CCTV. "Aryan, did you get the details of Dr. Akhil through your coding, like I said?"

"Yes, I got it... Everything about him is fine but.."

"But what, Aryan?" asked Niranjan.

"Look at this, he was a middle-class man when your parents were alive. But now he gained lots of wealth. He has lots of properties in his name. The suspicious thing is that he got this wealthy after a few months of your Parent's death!"  said Aryan.

"What??" Nandini for shocked.

"We need to meet this Dr. Akhil, again" stated Niranjan.

Investigation mode activated.
