The group arrived in Mumbai, the city's vibrant energy a stark contrast to the darkness they were about to face.
Sanjay, now fully embracing his true identity, led the group to their ancestral mansion, occupied by the Singhs.
As they approached, Sanjana's anxiety grew. "Bhaiya, I'm scared!"
Sanjay reassured her. "You're safe with me. No one can even touch you when I'm here. And if they even dare to touch you then I will make sure they pay for it."
Arav and Aryan joined them, their eyes scanning the surroundings.
The group arrives at the mansion, and Sanjay scans everything from out. "Our Mansion, where we lived with our Mom and Dad."
"Let's go, Niranjan," said Arav, and the rest of them agreed and walked towards the Mansion.
Sanjay rings the doorbell.
Soon Mrs. Singh opens the door. Without saying anything, Sanjay gets inside the mansion. Their presence met with shock and unease to Mrs. Singh. The Singhs' faces pale, their eyes wide with fear, when they saw Sanjana with them.
"What...what is going on here?" Mrs. Singh says angrily, " You... You took them here, right? " tries to grab Sanjana's hair. Sanjay, calm and collected, stepped forward."Don't you dare to touch my sister!"
"Your sister?"
"Yes, my sister. I adopted her a few weeks ago," stated Sanjay.
Soon Mr. Singh came. "What's happening here? And who are... oh!! Niranjan Malhotra?"
"Good evening, Mr. and Mrs. Singh. Yes, I'm Niranjan Malhotra and the new owner of this mansion."
Mr. Singh's face reddened. "What nonsense is this? This is our home!" Mr. Singh sees Sanjana and he gets angrier. He walks towards her but Sanjay blocks him. "Mrs. Singh, can you please inform your dearest husband about me and my sister? I hate to repeat myself," said Sanjay.
"You and your sister?" asked Mr. Singh, shocked and confused. Mrs. Singh came near him and said, "He says that he adopted Sanjana."
"What?? Fine then, but this mansion is ours. How can you be the owner of this.?" asked Mr. Singh.
Niranjan smiled. "I'm afraid Sanjana's father sold this mansion to my father before his passing. The documents are clear."
The Singhs exchanged panicked glances.
Arav and Aryan flanked Niranjan, their expressions were stern.
"We know what you've done to Sanjana," Arav said, his voice low and menacing. "We know how you've treated her."
Aryan added, "And we have proof. If you don't cooperate, we'll report your abuse to child welfare."
Mr. Singh's face paled, his eyes darting toward Sanjana.
Niranjan's gaze narrowed. "You have two options: work with us or face the consequences."
Mrs. Singh trembled. "What do you want from us?"
Niranjan's smile was cold. "You'll do exactly as we say. Sanjana will stay here, and you'll treat her with respect."
Mr. Singh, aware of Niranjan's influential connections with powerful peoples around the world, hesitated. Defiance flashed in his eyes, but pragmatism won out.
"Fine," he said. "We'll cooperate."
The Singhs' defeat was noticeable, their unease growing as Niranjan, Arav, Aryan, and Sanjana asserted their control.
Then four of them went upstairs to find their rooms, leaving the Singh family alone in the living room.
Sanjana's eyes sparkled with determination. "It's time for justice, Bhaiya." Niranjan's nod was reassuring. "Together, we'll make them pay."
"I don't understand, why did you let them stay here, Niranjan bhaiya? You can even kick them out," asked Aryan. "This family is dangerous Aryan. We need to keep our eyes on them every second. If we kick them out. Then they can do something drastic." replied Sanjay.
The power dynamic had shifted.
"We have to install CCTV here," Said Arav.
Sanjay, nodded, and dialed a number, his voice firm. "I need CCTV cameras installed everywhere in and around this mansion. No blind spots."
The person on the other end hesitated. "Sir, that's a lot of coverage. Are you sure?"
Niranjan's tone brooked no argument. "I'm positive. I want eyes on every inch of this mansion."
At the mansion, chaos reigned as strangers swarmed the grounds, installing cameras.
Mr. Singh approached Niranjan, confusion etched on his face. "Mr. Malhotra, what's going on? Who are all these people?"
Arav smirked and intervened. "Mr. Singh, it's for our safety. Additional security measures. Niranjan always wants to keep an eye on his beloved things."
Mr. Singh's brow furrowed. "But why now?"
Arav's smile was reassuring. "Precautions, Mr. Singh. You can never be too safe. We have to keep a close eye on everything near us. Especially on people, because people nowadays can't be trusted."
Unconvinced, Mr. Singh sought out his wife, Mrs. Singh, in the garden.
"We can't keep living like this, Rishi," Mrs. Singh said, her voice laced with frustration. "We're virtually prisoners in our own home."
Mr. Singh's expression turned grave. "I know, but we must tread carefully. Niranjan has connections with powerful people worldwide. And we are lucky that our daughter went to the hostel for her studies."
Mrs. Singh's eyes flashed. "That's exactly why we need to take action. We can't be his servants forever."
Mr. Singh placed a cautionary hand on her arm. "Patience, my dear. One misstep, and..."
He glanced around, ensuring they weren't being watched.
"...the consequences will be dire."
As night fell, the mansion was transformed into a virtual fortress, CCTV cameras watching every move. Niranjan's eyes gleamed in the shadows.
"No one will ever be outside my sight again."
Niranjan noticed Sanjana who was lost in her thoughts. "What happened, Sanju?"
Sanjana looks at him and says, "Nothing Sanjay bhaiya!""Sshhhhh!! Don't call me Sanjay Bhaiya right now. We are on a mission right" Niranjan whispered to Sanjana.
"Oh sorry!"
"It's ok, now tell me what's bothering you?" asked Niranjan.
"Do you remember Sushmita Aunty?"
Niranjan nodded and said, "Yes, what's about her?"
"She took care of me when uncle and aunty mistreated me. She helped me to run away from here. But now she isn't here? I thought she would be here when I came back! She even sent me to a tutor by hiding from this uncle and aunty. She paid that tutor for tutoring me, from her salary" said Sanjana.
"Maybe she left her job from here. Once we are done with this mission, let's go for another mission to find her. Ok," Niranjan smiled.
Sanjana happily agrees.
