"Hey...Sakura..."
Splotches of black filled her vision when she opened her eyes. As a low moan croaked in her throat, she felt the stiffness of her body, a lick of nausea rousing in her stomach. When the brightness of the room greeted her, she shut her eyes, stirring in her grandmother's comforter, but the shove on her shoulder was relentless.
"What the fuck, Sakura. Get up. It's passed noon and you have to tell me about last night before I leave for Matty's!"
And at Teresa's voice, she sprang up, her back straight, tee shirt clinging to her skin, and she turned like a mad woman with wild tangled hair as she stared into the confused hazel eyes of her roommate.
"Did the phone ring? Did he call?" Teresa stifled a gasp when Sakura grabbed the collar of her sweater. "Did you take a message?"
Sakura saw the slant of her brows when Tersa pushed her. Her hair was in a frayed bun, pulled away from her face with a zigzag headband. This was an oddly casual look for Teresa, wearing low rise sweatpants and a matching zip up hoodie. Sakura could only assume her weekend plans involved a lot of staying in bed.
"Jeez, take a chill pill. Nobody called." But her eyes narrowed, that she took a seat beside her as she poked an elbow into her ribs. "So, you gave him our number, huh?"
Sakura physically felt her cheeks burn, taking her blanket and lifting it over her face. But Teresa was quick to grab the sheet and unveil her. She cupped Sakura's cheeks, forcing their eye contact. Teresa observed her with fumbling lips as Sakura's gaze grew wide and frantic.
"You look absolutely flushed," she cooed, a grin immediately taking her mouth. "You got kissed!"
As Teresa cheered victoriously, Sakura withdrew, burying her face in her hands as she shuddered with embarrassment.
"Oh my gosh, Sakura! Tell me, tell me everything!"
She shook her head, her skin seething in her blush. But Teresa pressed, tugging on her shirt relentlessly. "Is he a good kisser? Did you guys do anything else?"
Bringing her knees against her chest, Sakura felt the blanket bunch against her, and suddenly that bump on her head from yesterday began to pulse. "No, we...we just kissed a few times."
She was surprised when Teresa gathered her in a hug, squeezing her uncomfortably. And as Teresa rubbed her cheek against hers, Sakura huffed a sigh, surrendering to her persistence.
"Ahh, Sakura! I'm so excited for you! This is huge!"
The smell of cucumber melon overwhelmed her senses. Thankfully, Teresa pulled away from her, a grave expression etched on her face.
"Did you guys just kiss, or make out?"
Sakura scratched her head timidly before looking at her lap. "Just kissed...a few times."
When Teresa clapped in victory, Sakura shot her a strange look, her fingers delving into the blanket.
"Perfect!" she beamed, placing a hand on her shoulder. "That means he likes you! And he's saving more for later."
Sakura smiled weakly, suddenly feeling her pulse panic as her stomach twisted painfully. Memories of last night repeatedly danced in her head like a movie, and she felt so thrilled and anxious she literally wanted to throw up. It was like a dream, how perfect everything played out, and she had her brazen roommate to thank for that.
