i get my shoes on, thank god i took a shower before falling asleep, because i knew something like this might happen, and i wouldn't want to stay in the house for too long.
i put on florence + the machine to get me hyped and feel like i'm in a movie. and , well, also just to run faster.
i get there, and it's 3:50. 10 minutes to spare.
quinta, lisa, and sheryl were all waiting for me at the entrance of the building . i guess because i'm so young, they wanted to make me feel a lot more welcome.
lisa hands me a coffee and winks, saying "i'm not sure if you're allowed to drink " sheryl laughs and slaps her arm lovingly . "lisa! don't say it like that " she rolls her eyes, teasing. quinta interjects, saying "what ms lisa here MEANS to say is she doesn't know if you can drink caffeine, but we have some for you, anyway. since you left the house so early. "
"yeah, why did you, anyway? " lisa asks, in a bit of a concerned tone. "yes, quinta says that your house is only around 15 minutes away. " sheryl says . "oh , its nothing. i was excited to get to my first day of work, that's all. ".. "lisa? "
"yeah, hun?" "may i please have my coffee now?"
"oh yes of course honey! " she hands it to me with care. "careful, it's hot. " she laughs . "oh yeah,believe me i have experience with coffee , i know. " i joke back. "honey, did you eat breakfast? it's quite early. did you have the time? manage to make anything ? we have stuff inside you can eat if you want. it's called crafty."
"oh , that sounds nice. idk, breakfast makes me feel sick. " which well, is kind of a lie , but i don't say that out loud.
"oh okay, but you should probably eat something , i mean.. you have some major scenes today , plus, school tutor on set. if you need anything, text me or quinta or sheryl, okay? "
"um.. i only have quintas number. can i have your guys too?"
"of course. "they all smile at me sweetly. "here. "sheryl speaks up. "let me put everyone's number into your phone, okay love? "
in the span of 5 minutes , lisa has called me honey twice , and sheryl, love once . i'm so glad im an actor , and can disguise the actual freak out i am experiencing rn.
