Dear June,

I'm sorry I had to leave like that... As you probably heard, my name is cleared and I am proven to be innocent. Even so, thank you for letting me stay for the last few days. Take care.

From, Mike

With Sherlock's deducing skills and the help of Mary's communication skills, I was proven innocent and no charges were dropped by the court. And yes, of course, Mycroft played a role in it too.

Sherlock signed some adoption papers- well, it did take a lot of convincing, but he did eventually sign it. Sometimes I giggle at how... childish Sherlock can be sometimes.

Flashback:

"But Michael is technically blood-related." Sherlock mumbled.

He hated boring procedures and signing piles of documents. But of course, Mycroft, the "big responsible brother" as Sherlock describes him- wanted to make sure that everything was recorded in the record file.

"Just sign it, Sherlock. It's been an hour." John pushed the papers in front of Sherlock. John and Michael has been sitting in Mycroft's office for a freaking hour because of the detective's stubbornness. Sherlock groaned as he muffled a few curses and finally signed the papers:

William Sherlock Scott Holmes, legal father of Michael Holmes

The next day

Michael was surprised and shocked at the same time. "I'm actually moving in?"

"Or you can stay with your girlfriend if you want." Sherlock smirked at him. "But she's probably terrified of you because you basically got arrested by the police right in front of her eyes."

Michael scoffed. "For the millionth time, she's NOT my girlfriend!"

Just then, John walked inside the room and smiled at the boy. "I've talked with Miss Hudson, there's an extra room beside the staircase. But you can move into my room after the wedding."

Michael smiled as John scrolled through his emails to find more cases for him and Sherlock. Even though Michael felt a bit sad that John won't be here after the next few months.

Mary (John's fiancée) agreed to let John stay in Baker Street with Sherlock and I before the wedding. Even though I was just starting to get to know her, but I really like her personality- she would make an excellent wife for John.

I wonder how Sherlock would feel though, he and John will rarely meet each other again after the wedding. I could see that he is very panicked about it, even though he acts as if he doesn't care.

"Thank you." Michael said to John as he continued making some adjustments to his new room. Just then he heard a knock on the door.

Knocked once. Knocked twice. Michael went to the door. "I'll get it."

"Breakfast, boys!" The smiling landlady entered the room, and the scent covered the entire floor. Michael helped Miss Hudson to set the plates on the table. "Thanks, Miss Hudson. It smells delicious."
