It was a cold and breezy night as Sherlock, John, Greg, and Michael ran through the streets, trying to chase the suspect of the bank robbery.
It was Michael's first case with them, and he tried his best to help them solve the case. It's been 2 days and we finally found the thief- we can't give up now, he thought to himself.
They tried to keep up with the suspect- he was surprisingly amazing at running. Their energy was starting to run off as they tried to catch their breath. "I... can't anymore."
"He's walking into a dead end." Sherlock motioned them to the right side. The thief was dumbfounded when he saw the huge wall blocking his escape- the dead end. They managed to surround him and finally he was forced to give up.
"Jasper Marquez. The man who managed to fool everyone... except us, of course." The consulting detective smirked. "Lestrade, you ought to... arrest him or something." Mr Marquez groaned as Greg cuffed him.
"What time is it now?" Michael asked as he wiped the sweat from his forehead.
Sherlock looked down at his watch. "2 o'clock in the morning."
"Wait a minute, if I'm not mistaken..." John asked, still panting. "Doesn't your school start tomorrow?"
Michael's eyes' widen slightly. "It's Sunday already?"
Well, he didn't need an answer to that question.

The next morningMichael groaned as he heard the alarm clock ring constantly beside his ears. He turned around and saw the time: 6.30 am. He barely slept and yawned as he struggled to get up from bed. His vision was still blurry and the entire room around him was spinning like crazy.
Michael wore his new school uniform, brushed his teeth and tidied his hair in a clumsy manner. Sherlock and John are still sleeping in their rooms. He moaned. "Lucky."
He almost tripped down the stairs as he was going to get breakfast. Maybe just a sandwich or some cereal, Michael planned his breakfast while he was walking. He went to the fridge and opened it- only to find a bloody bowl of eyeballs sitting inside.
"Yuck. Doesn't Sherlock have something better to do?" Michael muttered. "I should remind John to buy groceries this weekend."
Michael already forgot all about his appetite. He grabbed his bag and headed towards the front door.
Not a great start to a new day.

Springs Middle School
Michael glanced up at the bold words written on the front of the school. A group of students swarmed into the school, which reminds him of the orphanage all over again. He carried his bag and followed the crowd into the school.
He was assigned to class A. He quickly found the way and made it in class just before the bell rings. Everyone was already sitting in their places by then, the students who were chatting quickly sat back in their seats before the teacher arrives.

That was only half of the class.
Michael covered his face as all the information comes to him like an unpredictable tsunami and he struggles to store it away.
It definitely is useful at times, but some of them are a bit disturbing and sometimes he wished that he didn't know as much.
The sudden footsteps of the teacher interrupted his thoughts and finally all the unwanted information vanishes from his head. Michael followed the rest of the class and stood up from his chair.
"Good morning, Miss Brown."
The teacher sets her books on the desk and suddenly calls my name. Now all of the students were looking at Michael, all those gazes make him feel uncomfortable. He walked to the front of the class, and like every single new student, the teacher introduces him to the students and asks everyone to help him settle in this "new environment", as Miss Brown calls it.
Everything the teacher said about Michael was kind of a blur to him- he hadn't really heard a single word. He tried to avoid looking at the students as he would immediately see the person's personal life with one look.
And he doesn't want to know.
"Now, everyone please stand up and introduce yourself to Michael so that everyone could understand each other more."
Oh God no.
Everyone stood back up from their chairs and Michael had to listen to boring introductions for exactly 30 minutes.
But then one name caught his attention... "My name's June." Michael glanced up at her in surprise.
He didn't think that June would be in the same school with him, not to mention the same class. And neither did she.
Michael was not one to believe in coincidences... but this... was truly a coincidence.
"And that was the last one." Miss Brown smiled at him. "Welcome to Springs Middle School."

I wasn't sure if I should put Michael in a school or not... since he is a Holmes. And even though this is a story about the son of a brilliant detective, but he is still a kid after all. I hope you like this chapter, and also if you have any ideas for the story you can let me know in the comment section. Thank you!
