I saw Mike and Ian, I smiled as I let them in. Ramses was all over the place the moment he came in. I picked him up and said hi as the guys found places to sit. Halle showed up a short time later and looked like she hoped Matt had shown up already. She looked a little down as she sat down.

“So Halle, hows work?” Ian handed her a beer and grabbed my remote.

“It's good. I enjoy working at the clothing shop. I meet all kinds of people. I even get a great discount.” Her emerald green eyes light up when she spoke of work. I liked how well she fit in with our little group.

“Hey maybe we should hit up her shop.” Mike laughed as Matt walked in with Josh.

“Way to knock.” I smiled as I hugged Matt. I nodded at Josh, unsure what else to do. It had been 3 weeks since we fought. I hoped he might talk to me soon.

“Hey Halle.” Matt smiled, he went over to her and gave her a hug. Her eyes were bright with excitement as his arms wrapped around her.

Josh just stood back and ran his hand over Ramses. Ramses still adored Josh. I thought maybe he and I could talk. If he was willing. I walked over to him and put my hand on his shoulder. He looked up at and gave me a weak smile.

“Wanna talk?” I asked softly. He gave me a weak nod and I walked to my room.

“How are you?” Josh walked in my room and sat on my bed. I shut my door so he and I could talk.

“Sad. All the time.” I played with the hem on my shirt, not wanting to look at him.

“I am so sorry. I shouldn't have acted like a dick and ignored you.” He pulled me close and rested his head on my belly.

“I shouldn't have snapped. I was stressed, my family is in town and I just can't take everything.” I ran my hands through his hair and he looked up.

“Wait what? When did your family get here?” He looked at me with concern.

“They've been here about 3 weeks. I didn't even tell the guys. It's too much stress. My best friend Leia is coming this week with her son and I'm happy about that. But I'm unhappy.” I had no idea why I just blurted everything out.

“Why are you unhappy?” He stood up and rested his hands on my hips.

“I don't know how to be in a healthy relationship. And I want to. I want that with you.” As I said this his lips met mine in a heated kiss. My head started to swim as I let him take control. I felt myself land on my bed and warning bells went off. “Wait. I can't.”

“What's wrong?” He looked at me with worry.

“One: I have quests. It's rude to stay hidden away. Two: I haven't had good experiences with.....this kind of......stuff.” I felt horrible for telling him this.

“It's ok. I just missed you. I got carried away.” He lifted me off the bed and hugged me tight.

We walked out of my room hand in hand I saw Matt with Halle. She was on his lap talking with him. They looked up and they started.

“About fucking time!! You two were driving me nuts!” Ian laughed as he ran up to us and hugged us.

“You two need to keep on the same page.” Mike laughed.

“It seems that Matt has a new friend.” Josh smiled as he moved behind me and wrapped his arms around my waist.

“Um I should probably get home. I have work in the morning.” Halle jumped up and waved at everyone.
