After a long while, and long persuading from the blonde, the two of them finally found a good and comfortable position, Lexa ended up lying with her head in Clarke's lap. The Princess even dared to close her green eyes and relax a little, after few minutes of comfortable silence, while the blonde slowly stroked her hair.

They were talking for maybe more than 20 minutes before that. Both of them found new things about each other, mainly small and personal things, they exchanched funny stories from their early childhood- the brunnete told Clarke how exactly she met Costia and Clarke told her a story about how she nearly set herself on fire-, favorite colors- Lexa wasn't even surprised when the blonde told her, that her favorite colour was red, it just suited her in some strange way. The Princess loved blue and green, just like the colors in Trikru's forests, and maybe a blue shade of certain someone's eyes.

Lexa also found that her companion's favorite animal was a racoon, the blonde didn't tel her why exactly, just that they are smart, pretty cute and loyal. They discussed favorite their favorite foods and that the blonde loved sweets, while the Princess prefered fruit or salty things.

Clarke also gave away that her big hobby was drawing, she drew almost everyday when she was younger, but unfortunately she didn't have that much time for that anymore because of her work.

The blonde didn't want to answer any questions about her life in Arkadia- Where she worked, if she had any siblings or who are her parents-, or gave unspesific answer, so Lexa didn't push her. The last thing she wanted today, was to make the other woman uncomfortable or push too much, she would tell her when she's ready, and right now, the brunnete really wanted to enjoy every minute, or rather every second, of their time together, especially when it was still limited.

Clarke tried to compose herself and be calm, mainly because she didn't want to startle or force the brunnete to something she wasn't ready for., but she was absolutely restless. The few glasses of red wine that she had earlier were having more effect on her body and mind, than she previously thought they would.

The blonde knew about how the Trikru valued purity and all of these things. It was very different in Arkadia. Nobody really cared that much, almost everyone started dating in their late teenage years or had just some flings if they wanted to.

Arranged marriages also weren't really a big thing in Arkadia. Sure, because of political reasons it still happened sometimes, but most people married someone they loved, or lived with them outside of the marriage, which was considered a sin and crime in Trikru.

The whole thing about cheating and virginity was absurd. For example, if someone from Floukru married a woman from Trikru and they cheated or had another partner, it was perfectly fine. But if the Trikru woman did the same, or even kissed someone outside or before the marriage, and the Trikru council found about it somehow, the woman would be punished and most probably disowned from their familly.

Most of the Trikru woman were raised from early age to believe that their body was never really theirs, but it rather belonged to theirs future husband or wife. Clarke would even say they weren't just raised that way, but rather brainwashed. She never liked Trikru's culture, but only now, when she had the brunnete almost sleeping in her arms, she began to realise just how fucked up this whole purity thing really was.

"Are you sleeping, Princess?" The blonde said quietly with a calm voice, when she felt Lexa's breathing was slowing for a while, so that she wouldn't wake up the brunnete if she was really sleeping.

"Hmh?" Lexa finnaly opened her eyes a little, she sounded quite tired, but that definitely wasn't because she fas thinking about the woman, that was in the room with her, last night a couldn't sleep because of it. Of course not, that would be absolutely ridiculous.

"How much time do we have?" Clarke's hand stopped stroking the brunnete's hair, and slowly went from her hair to the right side of her neck, where she started to drawing small circles with her thumb. The blonde felt Lexa stiffen slightly, and the brunnete's breath trembled, when she felt the other woman's hand move back and forth from her throat to her collarbone, around the silver jewellery, that she was wearing.

Something in her head was telling her, that this wasn't right and she should stop it. Immediately. She wasn't supposed to be there, not in this room, not with the blonde and especially not lying in the blonde's lap and letting Clarke touch her body, even if it was just some innocent touches on her neck.

The voice sounded suspiciously like her father, but she pushed this thought back down for now.

She was supposed to be in the ball right now, talking with their political partners, smilling and maybe even dancing with someone important, who could help in their current situation or be a good future partner for her and the kingdom.

But she really didn't want to. For once, she wanted to be selfish, just this one time, Lexa allowed herself to don't think about what she learned, what others wanted from her or what would happen if someone found about it. Because right now, it felt too good to end it, and maybe this was the last time, when she really got to be with someone that she choosed, even if it was for just a little while.

"I-I don't know. Around half an hour, maybe?" Lexa looked at the clock, that was hanged on the wall against the bed, for a few seconds, just to check for sure. She hoped that her best friend, Costia, would really keep her promise and warn them in time, when would their time starting to ran out.

"Why? Don't tell me that you want to get rid of me already" The brunnete joked lightly, but with a little bit of uncertainty. She wasn't too clingy, was she? After all, it was Clarke that wanted her to on her lap. But maybe she should have said no?

"Because I really want to kiss you right now." And if Lexa's breath was trembeling until now, it stopped completely after that.
