marley waited for zach to finish and she took his place in the press conference room.

"were you happy with the outcome of the game today?" one of the news broadcasters asked.

"no, i called some plays that i wasn't proud of when they were executed." marley said.

"would you say you put the blame on yourself?" one of them asked.

"i always do." marley said.

"i saw that it got a little tense with t.j. watt after the game, care to comment on what happened?" he asked. "i know he said a couple of words."

"before i answer, do you know what he said?" marley asked, they determined how she answered the question.

"i'm not going to repeat it, but i know what he said." the newscaster said.

"well, i get comments like that all the time so nothing new for me." marley said.

"sam hubbard stepped in, kind of broke it up." another news reporter said. "is there something going on between the two of you?"

marley laughed. "no, we work together, that would be ridiculous. any of the other guys would've done the same thing." marley said. "they're like my family."

"during one of the last play before ot, you called a time out and changed the play. it resulted in a touchdown. what made you change the play?" she asked.

"it was a couple of things, i saw how they lined up and it looked like a blitz, and this play wasn't even in the playbook because i made it up on the spot so props to everyone for executing it correctly." marley said.

"zach and the other coaches looked at you like you were insane, did they know the play you made?"

"they did, that's why they looked at me like that because they didn't know the play but they trusted that i knew what i was doing." marley said.

"how did you design that play, and tell it to offense?" he asked.

"i think i'll keep that one to myself for now." marley said.

"i've noticed that you follow the play." the news reporter said.

"yeah, i'm always where the line of scrimmage is, if someone is running a lot of yards, most likely i'll follow it." marley said.

they finished their questions and marley left and traded spots with joe.

"marley," zach called. "how'd you come up with that play."

"i really don't know, it just seemed right in my head." marley said.

"i want you to start calling more plays." zach said. marley only really called about 20 plays per game.

"really?" marley asked, zach nodded. "maybe coke up with some more plays over the next couple of weeks and we can practice them and get them in the playbook."

"thank you, coach, i'll get on that." marley said.

"it would be great if you started getting involved in the locker room more, if your comfortable with that." zach said. "i think you could have a great locker room presence, bring some excitement to it."
