Butterflies (Maxine baker x reader)

Damn, that sucks.

As I walk home I see someone riding a motorcycle to the Bakers house. I curl my eyebrows, but turn my curious head. I walk towards the house but as I hear the motorcycle stop I look again. I see Ginny get off and kiss Marcus. I widen my eyes and walk inside our house fast. I pray she didn't see me.

I go to the kitchen and get a water, along with some chips and salsa. I hear the door slam in my left ear but I ignore it. I go to walk up the stairs.

"How was your first day, dear?"

I roll my eyes knowing there is going to be an argument or so disagreement.

"I have a ton of homework to do."

"Hey! You get back here when I am talking to you! I don't want you with that guy or on that bike!"

I finally go up the stairs as I hear their loud footsteps moving along the creaky boards.

I hear the door slam against somebody's hand.

"You don't understand."

I shut my door and take a deep breath in. I hate when they argue. I grab my AirPods and put them in quickly. They were not helping with my anger already. I play my favorite song I can think of.

I feel my body relax. I remember that Austin was home. Fuck. They really are doing this when he's home again.

*Time skip*

"So then, after ordering the shrimp basket, Jax, like, reaches into his pants not his pocket, Ginny, his pants, like, where his balls are and he pulls out a ring and proposes. It is the best show. Hunter, do you watch Vanderpump Rules?"

"No, sorry."

"Neither does Ginny. You guys are uncultured. She's coming over tonight so I can pop her cherry."

I look at her and move closer,

"Oh? Can't wait to do that to you."

I whisper to myself. She shoots her head towards me and smiles.

"Maybe you will."

She says as she steps forward. I bit my lip and step forward too. We keep the intense eye contact as we move closer. We both zone back in when Hunter says he was hoping to hang out with her. I laugh as they both seemed surprised. I look and see Brodie, Norah, Jordan (?), and Abby come over to us. I let them carry on with their conversation as I zone out once again.

"Holy shit. Who's that?"

"That is Ginny's and Y/n's mom."

I hear Brodie whistle while Maxine agrees, I feel myself give her a tiny glare. I had no right to be jealous but it was already burning through my clothes.

"I'll catch you guys later."

Ginny walks away as I catch up with her.

"See you tonight, Ginny."

Ginny turns to smile at Hunter while my legs keep moving.

I get into the car and get comfortable. I look at Ginny seeing her being dramatic like normal. I roll my eyes at her dramatic ass. That's one of the reasons I hate having her as a sibling.

*Time skip*

"Mm. Bacony. Pass the chocolate milkshake, please."
