Chapter 6: Piping

Yoongi's POV

"What are you doing here, Yoongs?" Jin hyung asked as he walked towards me.

I was lounging on a beach bed not far away from where the festivity was going. We just finished having dinner after he proposed to Haerin.

"Want some peace & quiet..." I shrugged my shoulders. He sat on the next beach bed and drank on his wine glass. He offered me to take a sip, in which I raised my own glass to let him know I already have one. "Congratulations again, hyung."

"Thank you, Yoongi-ah." He smiled widely at me, his happiness radiating. "How about you, when will be your turn?"

"Oh shut up! Don't start on that." I shook my head and took a sip.

"Why? It's high time you think about your future, Yoongi. We're not getting any younger." He pointed out.

"I would rather grow old alone than meet another Injae in this lifetime."

"What? You still can't forget that hag?"

"Please. I can't even remember what she looks like. It's just that I am not as lucky as you are when it comes to girls."

"What do you mean by that? Have you met that much girls already?"

"Haerin is one in a million. And I am happy that you both found each other. But me? I don't think there's someone out there that will give me the same things you have."

"Such a pessimist, Yoongi-ah. Why don't you put down your guard a bit? You might lose your chance of meeting her, if you haven't missed it already. Take a leap of faith, Yoongs. What's one more heartache, right?"

I looked at him thoughtfully. We both finished our wine. Suddenly, I saw Namjoon walking towards us. He sat on the beach bed on my other side.

"What are you doing here? You're missing out the fun. Look at Hobi chasing away the maknaes." He said, laughing.

"Just telling Jin hyung here how lucky he is that Haerin said yes." I chuckled.

"True!" Namjoon agreed. "Does she know about the enlistment hyung? Is that why you proposed to her already?"

"We have talked about it in passing but I haven't told her about how soon it's gonna be. I'm not sure if I have the courage." He bitterly chuckled.

"Sooner or later, you will have to do it. Tell her before she finds out about it from other people." I reminded him.

"Don't worry, I won't let that happen." He quietly said.

We were silent for a few minutes, watching the others having some fun. Our rest was interrupted when JK ran towards us and told us to join them. And even though I already want to go to our villa, I followed because this was a special occasion. I cannot ruin the fun.

The morning came. My head was aching from all the alcohol we consumed last night. I can't even recall how I got inside the villa. I decided to take a quick shower, which I wasn't able to do last night, before I head out for breakfast.

I was walking towards the restaurant when I received a message from Nari.

Seriously? Holly is with her?! How come?! What the hell? Does she know how to take care of a dog? Damn. I can't trust her! But what else can I do?

I grudgingly ate my breakfast. The other members were still asleep I think. I don't know what's the schedule today. I might call in sick just so I wouldn't join their activities. I hate the water.

We'll be going home tomorrow though. I can't wait to see Holly.

Is it Holly only?
