Kaitlyn sat in the base, complaining to her sister about how hot it is. Even if she was wearing a sports bra with bike shorts, to her, it was like the sun was shining a foot away from her. She didn't know how the others could go on a dig with this type of heat, because she knows that if she was with them right now, she would have passed out. She was just lucky enough that the base had something in it to make it cool.

"Kendall," whined Kaitlyn, dragging out the name of her sister, "It's so hot!"

Her sister sighed, "I know Katie, I can feel the heat too. And you won't stop complaining about every three seconds."

This made Kaitlyn scoff, "Okay, it's not ever three seconds. It's like every twenty," she clarified.

Kaitlyn heard someone coming down the slide but was confused as the others weren't meant to be back yet. She turned towards the entrance to find Shelby sliding down into the base and letting her energem float to its station.

"Shelbs, why are you back so early? Did something happen?" Kaitlyn questioned from her seat.

"Is everything okay?" Kendall asked slightly backing away from her computer.

"Well, actually, something did happen," Shelby started, intriguing the Morgan sisters, "I came up with an idea for how to find the other energems." Kaitlyn could see Shelby smiling with confidence.

"Oh. Really?" Kendall chuckled whilst retrieving her clipboard and pen, "I think you underestimated how difficult it is to find an energem."

"You know Kendall sometimes I think you underestimate Shelbs," Kaitlyn spoke while watching the scene go fourth. Kendall looked at her sister with raised eyebrows.

"Exactly," Shelby agreed. "Ever since I first got here, I've been waiting tables, mopping floors, and being a pretty good Pink Ranger if I do say so myself. But I've also got a lot of ideas going up in here," Shelby explained pointing to the top of her head, "The problem is, no one will listen."

"I'll listen to you Shelbs, I mean you're one of my best friends, and what kind of friend would I be if I didn't hear you out," Kaitlyn assured, taking a stand next to her, "We'll both listen." Kendall looked at her sister but rolled her eyes as she set her things down. She clasped her hands together giving the Pink Ranger her full attention.

"Uh... well... we combine known facts about the five remaining dinosaurs. Climate, known breeding grounds, food sources, stuff I know, with a global scan of the energy signatures for each of those dinosaurs energems. That stuff I thought the two of you could help me figure out."

Kaitlyn sat back down and look impressed with Shelby's idea, on the other hand her sister looked like she didn't believe any of this was going to work.

"Global scan of energy signatures? Highly doubtful," Kendall began but then something came to her head, "Unless of course we... Yes. Hmm."

"Umm, Kendall honey, mind telling us what going through that nerdy head of yours?" Kaitlyn asked as she watched her sister go to her laptop, "No? Alright."

"That would require DNA samples, and the processing power would limit us to just one dinosaur at a time." Kendall looked back at Shelby in wonder, "Well are you going to watch or help?"
