So, she wasn't that undesirable after all.
She couldn't stop smiling. It was cute though even if it was wrong to think about it.
Finally, it was Friday night, and going out was not an option as she had bought a workload home along with her, and so was the case of her friends.
So, as usual, all three of them would be lying in front of the tv in their best messiest attires in the natural habitat of their sanctuary of a mini apartment.
She finished her work before lying on the couch for their grand weekend plan execution.
It seemed as if Preslie and Miracle were still busy.
Poor them. Preslie's struggle with Law school was evident, and who can know it better than her after all?
And Miracle was completely drowned in her Law Firm job. It seemed all three of them had no life apart from work anymore.
Maybe that's what compelled all three of them to take up this stupid challenge.
Desperate times called for desperate measures. How desperate were they to do something so stupid impulsively without a second thought of the consequences they might have to bear?
Soon she was interrupted from her trance by Preslie plopping beside her on the couch.
"Now, I know why you, Mira, and Charlie said that Law school is the worst. It is impossible to live a normal life when all you can think about is your syllabus." Preslie looked exhausted.
But she knew she will make it through it.
Determination was something that made her stand apart from everyone.
Hana patted Preslie's head smiling at her.
The very next moment Miracle entered the apartment with an angry banging on the door.
"Jeez Mira what made you so moody from the look on your face it seems your blood pressure is at the top at the very moment." Hana knew from her previous conversation with Miracle how the law firm job was so demanding from a junior lawyer.
She was currently assisting her boss a senior advocate who was pushing 50 on a high-profile civil suit.
"My asshole of a boss, he is so against of me even breathing that he won't let me take a small break just for refreshments. I don't know why they have so many issues with the newbies in the industry as if they directly landed their high positions without entering from the entry level." She plopped on the other side of Hana holding her head in her hands trying to massage away the growing pain and exhaustion.
"I know sweetheart but you know this is a defending job. Our field is a very professional one lacking is not an option here. And about your boss dude, he is impressed by your work and pace that's why asked you to assist him in this case. And though now it might make you feel as if you are stuck, in the future, it will help you grow immensely your resume will look like a war memorandum." Hana said with a smile.
Both Miracle and Preslie looked at Hana with curiosity itched on their faces.
"Who are you, and what did you do with our Hana?" Preslie said with a mock-seriousness on her face.
Hana smirkingly rolled her eyes at them.
"No, seriously this is like seeing after what... 3 months. You are acting so optimistic; it is creeping me out." Miracle said still the look of curiosity on her face.
"Oh, oh, oh, I know what happened." Suddenly Preslie was bouncing on the couch laughing and giggling like a maniac.
"I think she might have received a date from one of the dating apps."
