Your 1920's Casual Outfit

In the 1920's, what's your casual attire/outfit like? Are you a flapper girl, or are you a tomboy? I tried to stay as close as I could to the 1920's style of fashion. I will do an preference chapter over what you wear at a party.

You have never been not will you ever be a girly girl who dresses up in silly dresses and hats to try and impress others. You're a hardworking girl whose hands are rough from working, a sight Tommy both admires and hates. You typically can be seen wearing what looks like men's boots, pants with suspenders, a long light grey or brown trench coat, and a button up shirt with the hat Tommy had gifted you since you stole it all the time. You don't wear jewelry, make the ring Tommy have you when he asked to marry you. You usually wear your hair up into a low bun that is messy. You don't care for nail polish or makeup, seeing it will get all messed up as you sweat and go about your business throughout the day using your hands. But that's okay, your natural beauty is enough to catch eyes everywhere. While you don't care for smoking yourself, you do occasionally sit down and have a drink as you rest.

You have found when having to run away or getting into fights, dresses slow you down. Also, wearing pants makes it easier to run and men aren't as tempted to try and touch your knees if they are covered. Most men laugh when a woman conducting business is wearing a pretty dress but they also laugh when they see a woman wearing pants like a man. Either way, you might as well do as you damn well please! Alfie himself is not a neat suit and tie kind of man, so how can he expect you to wear dresses and heels with silly hats? You like to wear a button up t-shirt with a tie, pants with suspenders that match your tie, and the best heeled boots to make you look even taller. You let your hair go wild and crazy, only brushing it when it looks terrible and knotty. Sometimes you put your hair in a tight braid (if you can). Alfie hates makeup on women and you don't care to take the time to put it on. You don't wear nail polish considering how rough you are with your hands. You are not impressed by jewelry. You usually wear one of Alfie's hats...before he takes it back. You carry a flask of rum inside your shirt for when you get thirsty or need a drink.
