Silly question, but would they have a boy or a girl? If both, are they more of a boy dad or a girl dad? Or would they be a boy dad or a girl dad (in general)? Ignore what children they had in the series. This is what I personally think based off their personalities. If anyone disagrees, please let me know your opinions 🙏🏼😄 I am still going to write the requested Imagines for Tommy and Finn as I promised, I have just been dealing with Covid, school, and work. I randomly got this idea today while at work and wanted to quickly share my thoughts before I went to bed. Enjoy 😊

- Thomas Shelby

Thomas Shelby is a very ruthless, strong man. However, men like Tommy have one weakness: love. From different lovers, Ada, Polly, and his friends, such as Lizzie (long before he wedded her and she was working for him), he was always kind and respectful to women. And as we know, Tommy's a ladies man with his seductive ways, good looks, and leadership. That being said, I feel like Tommy would have a girl or at least be more of a girl dad. She would be the light of his life and would be the only female to overshadow his love for his wife (if he truly loved his wife). She would be the first he would ask about over his wife and son. Her being the reason for the sudden smile on his face when he sees her. Also, for men like Tommy with such violent lives, they typically do have daughters as karma since their daughters end up paying the price by getting hurt, kidnapped, or even brutally killed.

- Alfie Solomons

Alfie is unexpected but incredibly intriguing as well as confusing and clever. Alfie could have either a boy or a girl, both shocking yet making sense. However, to me, it makes my sense that he would have just one child. If Alfie had a boy, he would teach his son the business and would install within him the 1920's mindset of "to be a real man." While he wouldn't be too hard on his son or be abusive, Alfie would definitely make sure his son was raised properly the way young men of that day and age was brought up. I feel like his son would be mischievous, "the troublesome little Jewish boy" people would say (hopefully I did not offend anyone with this comment, and if I did, I SINCERELY apologize 🙏🏼 the character Alfie Solomons is Jewish so that is what I meant). His daughter would be the same, the problem child who makes a name for herself as being mischievous and trouble. She would end up being just like Alfie. However, I feel like Alfie would be more protective of her than anything (he would be protective of his son too) and would ignore to see her behaviors as anything bad. He would think some behaviors as simply cute and just child like nature, considering how he [Alfie] was raised.

- Arthur Shelby

Arthur is a nice enough man to women that it would seem like he could have a daughter but I personally think he would have a son. Arthur would be the boy dad if he had both a son and a daughter. While girls are typically more sweet and gentle (if they are not tomboys), boys are just different. Arthur would favor his son(s), holding them up to a pedestal. He had his brothers growing up and only one sister. However, Arthur would teach his sons things (back then) men could not teach their daughters such as fighting, how to shoot guns, sports, fishing, horse riding, hunting, etc. His son would get most of his attention and would typically be included in such activities with his uncles. Arthur would sneak liquor to his son before he was of age just because he wanted his so to feel "like a man." And if anyone messed with his golden child, God have mercy on their souls and bodies because you won't find them again.

- John Shelby

John Shelby is a hard one for me to depict as a father (despite he was a father LONG before Arthur and Tommy and had a whole mess of kids with first wife). John's the little brother (yes Finn is the baby, calm down) to Arthur and Tommy in their brotherly trio, being fiery and protective of his family while also being ruthless. John seems like he was made for war, not being affected by it like Tommy or Arthur. However, I feel like it could go either way. Probably, like Tommy, his daughters would be his center of his attention while his sons would get lectures about being a man and providing for the family and caring for their sisters. The more violent the man, the greater the heartbreak when his daughter(s) are injured, kidnapped, or killed/dies. Also, his daughter(s) would inherit that feistiness and aggressive nature like their father. That being said, I can also see John being SUPER protective of "my boy." He would be proud when his son caught his first fish or shooting his first game, teaching him how to skip rocks or telling him stories about when he and his brothers were young. Either way, John would destroy anyone who even came near his children like an angry papa bear.

- Michael Gray (I don't like Michael so this is just hard for me 😂)

Michael turned for the worst throughout the series. I feel like his son would be just like him in the beginning, wanting to prove himself worthy to those above him. Michael would end up being hard on his son but would truly love him, not wanting him to fear or be underestimated because of where he came from. I feel like Michael would be the type of father who would end up making his son feel like he has to earn his father's love and respect. Michael would not be the one to teach him fighting, hunting, how to ride a horse, fishing, how to talk to girls, etc. Michael wouldn't exactly be an absent father but his lack of presence or participation would be the cause of his sons troublesome behavior. Michael would lecture and talk down to his son over his behaviors that caused issues at school or stealing or nearly getting someone killed due to racing the car. However, if anyone tried to hurt his boy, Michael would commit the most brutal act of murder possible. If anyone said anything bad about the boy, Michael would defend his son even if his son was caked in another man's blood. If Michael had a girl, he would blame her for the fact he did not have a son.

- Finn Shelby

Finn was the baby so he was treated like the baby. His children would be a reflection of this. He would not be hard on his children and would make excuses for their behavior. I feel like he would be a boy dad (but a daughter would not surprise me) and wouldn't be tough on his son or try to install "what it takes to be a man" that his brothers would. Finn didn't go to war so he didn't have to face that, making him softer. His son would be able to have a decent, longer childhood and would learn fighting, talking to girls, hunting, fishing, riding horses, driving, drinking, drugs, etc. from his dad. Basically his son would be his buddy. His daughter he would obviously love but I feel wouldn't be as close as father-and-son relationship.

- Isaiah Jesus

I can honestly say that I don't picture Isaiah having children. He's more of a player type who can't really stay with just one woman. However, for this chapter, I will say he would have a son. Isiah's father is a preacher and would install those values within his grandson. Isiah would be like Michael as a father, seemingly cold and hard as well as mostly absent, but better never talk shit about his boy. His son could have blood on his clothes and he would defend his innocence till the end of time. Only, I feel Isiah would teach his son how to shoot a gun, get girls, fish, etc. Either Isaiah or his father would be the one to do that.

- Luca Changretta

Luca is very cold and revengeful as well as short-tempered and violent. Smells like a girl-dad to me 😂 (just kidding). However, I do feel like Luca would be a girl dad who puts his little girl on a pedestal like she is some princess. He would give her everything and more, spoiling her absolutely rotten. New dresses every week, multiple pets she won't take care of, a huge ass doll house, piano lessons, you name it. He would come running if she started crying or was upset, babying her even as she grows out of that stage. While I feel like he would be a girl dad, I also feel like perhaps he would have a son too. His son wouldn't get the same treatment as his sister, living in her shadow, but he would be expected to be apart of the family business and be groomed into the business. While his sister would outshine him, he would definitely give Luca a reason to be proud of. Violent  men often live tragic life's, resulting in losses of loved ones. His daughter, like Tommy and John, would probably have a tragic end.
