One thing that aggravates me (sort of) about the series is that they never showed Tommy with pregnant Grace. Like I understand that it was irrelevant to the story but it would have showed a brief time in Tommy's life where he was happy and him being gentle with Grace when she was pregnant. It would have made her death that much more tragic.

So all that being said, how did they treat you during your pregnancy with their child? In what ways were they supportive, if at all? Any cute fatherly moments?

(they just didn't look right without their newsboy hats on, just saying 😂 😂 😂 )

Tommy - During your pregnancy, Tommy was away a lot on business. However when he was home, especially the weeks leading up to you giving birth, he would spend time with you and rest. When the baby would kick, which was often, Tommy would place his hand over your stomach to feel the kicking. Every evening he was home, he would have you lay on your back or your side so he could talk to the baby. He would tell the baby stories from his childhood, about the horses, some stories of France, talking to the baby as if it were already a young child. Tommy didn't find your pregnancy gross or uncomfortable to be around like other men typically do with their pregnant wives. Tommy knew you were his woman and inside you, put there by him, was a little heir to the Shelby throne.

Alfie - During your pregnancy, you didn't handle it well. Alfie feared everyday that he would either lose you, the baby, or both at some point. Truth was, Alfie didn't want the baby (until you had the baby and he held your child in his arms). He wanted you. You were his main love and anything that could take you away from him, he loathed. Alfie loathed the baby and would tell you that if he lost you, he could never tolerate the child. Alfie was around and helped you some, but your struggle pained him so much he tried to stay away. He had witnessed pregnant women within Jewish community and knew how to handle certain situations, his protective instincts kicking in when it came to you and the baby inside of you.

Arthur - During your pregnancy, Arthur went into it with great intentions. He did. He would smile and get so happy, helping you walk from place to place and making sure you rested plenty. However, as your body grew and things began to happen with your body, Arthur began to take a step back. He worried over everything little thing, such as you laying on your stomach or taking long walks outside. He was so excited for a boy (you ended up with a girl) that he'd often talk about the things he'd show him and teach him like fighting, playing ball, shooting a gun, etc. Arthur was proud to be a father, loved you despite being uncomfortable with your body during pregnancy. He couldn't even lay next to you it was so strange to him.

John - John was married before you and had SEVERAL children. He went through it many, many times so he knew the drill of what to expect when his wife was pregnant. He made you sit down often and would have his other children help you out with chores. He would rub and kiss your belly, talk to the baby, and would force you to lay on your side. He would tell the baby stories of his time in France and of his childhood, knowing that the baby could hear his voice. Any sign of trouble, John would it pick up before you such as spotting (blood from too much stress). He didn't baby you too often knowing you were capable of many things while carrying his child but he also respected the fact his wife was carrying a living being within her. Placed there by himself. The natural things that happened to a woman during pregnancy didn't gross him out and he actually came home more often while you were pregnant just to make sure you were okay.

Michael - During your pregnancy, Michael was busy either being away on business, in jail for a period of time, and schemed against taking down Tommy. He only got you pregnant with the intent to soften his way back in with the family. Michael would be protective of you more, would rub your growing belly and would help you sometimes get dressed/undressed. He would tell you little things he'd heard to make your pregnancy better or what was better for the baby. Other than that, Michael really didn't notice.

Finn - Finn ignored you because pregnancy made him nervous and he felt weird with you being pregnant. As you got bigger, he would either freak out or get overprotective of you as in he would make you sit or lay down if you huffed a breath.

Isaiah - No inspo 😭

Luca - During your pregnancy, Luca avoided you as much as he could. He felt he had no business around a pregnant woman and that you were being taken care of by your/his family. He would send you gifts like flowers, food, clothes, etc. to make you feel special but didn't make an appearance until after the baby was born. He felt it was none of his business to bear witness your pregnancy and honestly, many men felt that they during those times.
