His eyes twitched slightly, everything felt so off. It couldn't have only been three days, could it? Nonono, he could have sworn he had been there for so much longer. What did she mean that his torment had only been for three days? He had woken up so many times there. Trained so much. Too much. He didn't-
The Medics voice cut through his thoughts,
"Are you okay?"The doctor gently placed a hand to the mans shoulder,
"I... I'm alright." He said, composing himself, it seems the excitement of freedom had worn off, he wasn't so bold with his words now,
The Medic paused, giving him a scrutinizing, but concerned, stare before sighing,
"Alright, I'll believe you for now, just please tell me anything when you feel like it." She said, giving the man a sad look,"Well, I'm not gonna let that go as easy as lil' ol' Medic here, whats going on with ya'?" Toxic-gunner leaned in close to the man, to which the man leaned away from, only sanking further into the hospital beds pillow,
"Toxic, you really shouldn't..." The Medic help a hand up, attempting to discourage Toxic-gunners intrusiveness, who looked up at her, all while not moving his face from the mans,
"C'mon, no one ever gets better bottling anything up!" His breath smelled like mint, ugh, way too close for comfort.
The man finally grew so tired of the breach in his personal space that he pushed Toxic away by the shoulder,
"I'm fine.. Seriously..."
Not really, but did they need to know that? He was fine physically and that's all that mattered. He got a meal and a drink, and now he'll get out of here as soon as he can. He didn't need to burden them anymore.
Before he knew it the Toxic-gunner was back in his face,

"Well, would you look at that! We aren't accepting visitors anymore at this hour!" She started pushing Toxic-gunner out of the room, who she had gotten just in the doorway,
"Hey! Quit-"
"Now shoo! Shoo!" She swatted him away with her hands and out of the room until she could close it and lock it. She put her back to the door, slowly dragging herself to the ground against the wooden surface. At last she let out a long groan,
"Uughhh..."
"So... Is life here always like that..?" The man awkwardly questioned
"No.. It's worse, actually."
"Ah." The man sighed, before the womans eyes widened,
"I mean- It's not usually like this!" She said, trying to stay positive for the bed-ridden man.
"I won't press you, only because you left me alone," The man said quietly, a yawn escaping his lips.
The Medic looked up to the man from the doorway,
"I think you need to sleep,"
"Maybe I do... Just make sure that 'Commander' guy doesn't mull me in my sleep," The man made a desperate joke, his smile never reaching his eyes. The Medic laughed at his joke,
"No promises, now sleep, from the looks of it; you REALLY need it." She poked fun at him, which the man stared at her for a few seconds, silently,
Never the less, he took her advice,
