"Dad, I'm fine, I promise." Mack groaned, pouting her lips at her father.

"I don't think it was a good idea to let you stay in beacon hills." Her father rubbed his face in stress. "You almost died. Two times! All in 48 hours. Maybe you should go to France until this blows over, I know you miss Isaac."

Mack glared, anger flowing through. She was not a coward. This was her fight to. It's been her fight since she moved to this town.

"No way! I will not leave my friends behind, she wouldn't." Mack voice broke.

Don't cry. Don't cry. She couldn't cry.

Mack forced it all back down. She would not cry. Not ever. Chris flinched at her words.

"And... Allison would want you to leave, Mackenzie. She wouldn't want you in harms way." He stated.

The father saw a lot of his oldest daughter in his youngest and it scared him to death. He already lost his wife, dad, sister and his eldest daughter, he couldn't lose the only thing he cared for in this world now. He felt fear Mack would end up like her sister. Especially with her always rushing in danger.

"I won't die, dad. Not like..." the Argent girl trailed off. "I'll be okay. I have Scott and Stiles looking out for me, I'm in good hands."

Chris brought her into a tight hug. "I know, baby. I know."

The pack minus Liam, Mack and Lydia were at the high school taking the SAT's. Mack thought about taking it this year like how Lydia took hers freshman year, but she decided against it.

She had more time before thinking about SAT's. Right now, the girl was at home in a quiet and empty house.

Honestly it was weird having some quiet time, in Beacon Hills, those times are limited.

Mack jerked up when she heard a creaking sound. She swiftly grabbed her ring dagger on her nightstand where a picture of her and her sister laid.

She hid around the corner of her window, tightly holding her ring dagger closer to her as her heart felt like it was beating out of her chest.
