"Kate is alive?" Mack's mind was swirling.
Her aunt who she saw die was alive and some kind of supernatural creature.
So the pack minus Mack since she had to study, went to Mexico to look for Derek Hale since he went missing.
"Yeah, and somehow she made Derek into a teenager." Stiles told the girl over the phone.
Kate is alive? That's all Mack could think about. Kate and Mack were very close but Kate turned into a sociopath. She killed Derek's whole family, minus a couple.
Mack sighed. "Everything was great but it's all falling apart."
"Don't be so dramatic, Rosie." Stiles was the only one who could call her that, her middle name is Rose.
Its been a few months since a monster came to Beacon Hills. A few months since Allison's death.
A sharp pain overwhelmed Mack as she thought of Allison. Allison Argent was her sister, her best friend and she died saving Mack from an Oni.
It should've been Mack instead, it would've if Allison didn't push her out of the way.
"Are you coming home?" Mack fell back on her bed.
After the nogitsune and Allison, her father left for France along with Isaac Lahey, Allison's somewhat boyfriend and Mack's crush but Mack couldn't leave Beacon Hills so she's been staying with Stiles and his dad.
Stiles was like a big brother to Mack.
"Yep, we are on the way back. But we have to stop at Deaton's first because of Derek."
"Are you on the phone when you're driving?" Mack asked. "You know that's dangerous, right?"
"Yes mom." Stiles rolled his eyes.
Mack laughed. "You so owe me for covering for you guys with your dad. I have to go. See you soon, freak."
"Bye, brat."
Mack laughed again as she hung up. She turned on her side, glancing at the picture on her nightstand.
It was of Allison and her, it was of them laughing at something.
Mack pretended that she was fine but really her heart was in so many pieces. She hasn't been the same since Allison. More closed off.
She blamed herself.
And well, she hasn't let herself cry from anything that happened last year, her aunt supposedly death, her mom's death, her grandfather going crazy, and Allison's death.
She wasn't good with feelings so she kept it all inside, never shedding one tear.
