dear [salem],
[mrs. S] was so nice! [she] said some sad stuff [about her summer, though]. lots of deaths.
[however], in [her class], we did a gratitude [activity] where we got five sticky notes to put into five categories (food, abilities, people, hobbies, [and] other). we would write things we were thankful for in each [category]. [because of this], i'm going to count my blessings for once. i think [mrs. S]'s class is going to make me a much better person!
