Hazel's pov

Spider sat up, and as my eyes finally adjusted, I saw Quaritch standing in the doorway.

"Miles why is your little girlfriend here!?" He said, just standing there not knowing what to do. "That's not my name," said Spider while looking at the floor. "And I'm not his girlfriend," I added.

"Oh yeah? Well, those marks on your neck tell a different story." Said Quaritch. I reached up to my neck covering it with my hand.

Quaritch pulled us both out of the room, spider still didn't have a shirt on.  He took us both to a room with a radio and picked it up, "General we found her." Said Quaritch

"Where is she," I heard my mother's voice on the radio. "On the boat with us, we found her in  the storage room where miles was being held."

"I'm not surprised" my mother replied. "Keep her with you, make sure she doesn't get hurt. Bring her back when you have jake sully."

Quaritch put the radio down and took us to the bridge of the ship. From there I could see land, it must be the reef clan, I thought.

As we came to a stop, Quaritch grabbed Spider and pull him out the door.

Spider's pov

As we entered the lower deck I saw the reef clan. "Let's move," said Quaritch while pushing me onto the shore.

"WHERE'S JAKE SULLY," Quaritch yelled while pointing to a photo of him in the tribe leader's face.

One of his team had a gun to their head. "This isn't working," he said. Quaritch turned to me "tell them that if they don't tell us where jake is then we will kill Them." "THEY DON'T KNOW ANYTHING," I Yelled at him.

"Kill that animal," Quaritch said. I turned around and watched as they shot the animal. All the village people screamed and some started crying.

I had never felt so helpless in my life. "Light up the huts, that will teach them a lesson."  I watched them light their homes on fire, it made me feel sick.

I watched from the boat as the fire consumed everything. I could still hear the screams in my head.

I walked back up to the bridge of the ship. As I walked up the stairs to see Hazel watching it all burn as we pulled away from shore.

I walked up to her and hugged her from behind. She turned around to hug me back while I rested my head on top of hers.

"What happened?" she said while still hugging me. I let go of her. "They destroyed everything, those poor people, they killed their animals as well." "at least they didn't hurt anyone," she replied. "Not yet," I said.

Quaritch walked back into the bridge, "this isn't going to work, we need to do something to draw him out. We will hunt their tulkun, hopefully, that will draw them out."

"You can't do that you will start a war," said Dr Ian Garvin. "If that's what it takes to find Jake sully, that's what we will do."

Hazel and I both looked at each other, I could see the worried look on her face. "It's gonna be ok," I whispered to her.
