I woke up at 8:34 am and walked to the lab where they were keeping spider. I opened the door to the lab making sure no one was in there. I walked over to the area they were keeping him and turned off the camera's and walked in. I saw him sleeping on the small bed in the corner of the room. "Wake up jungle boy," I said while walking over to him.

Spider's pov

I opened my eyes and saw Hazel standing over me, we locked eyes for a few seconds and it was like the world stopped. What is that feeling I thought to myself, she broke the eye contact after a few seconds. " why did you wake me up so early?" I said to her. "It's
8:40 am this is late jungle boy," she said while rolling her eyes. I yawned while slowly getting up from bed.

"Let's go do something fun," she said while grabbing my hand and pulling me out the door that they were keeping me in. "what's stopping me from running away," I said.

"That tracker that is installed in your arm can make you pass out for 7 hours with one click of a button," she replied. As they walked out of the laboratory door, Hazel started walking faster towards a small room. "Where are we going?" I asked. "To get you some clothes," "what's wrong with what I'm wearing?" I said to her, "spider you half-naked you're gonna flash people walking around like that."

As we walked into the small room I realised that it was Hazel's room. "I thought you would have had a much bigger room," I said. " ok put these on," Hazel said while throwing clothes at me. Hazel couldn't help but stare at his abs as he put the shirt on "turn around" I said, and she quickly spun around to where she was facing the window.

Hazel pov

As I was waiting for him to finish changing I felt someone touch my waist, and it made my heart skip a beat, then he whispered in my ear "boo, did I scare you?" He said "no of course not," I said while spinning around to meet his eyes, as I looked up at him I thought, wow he is tall, at least 6 feet tall.

"How do I look?" He said while letting go of my waist. At the moment it was taking all the power inside me not to reach up and put my hands around his neck and kiss him. "Yeah, you look good." I replied "ok I wanna show you something," I said while reaching for his hand and pulling him out of the room.

After what felt like forever of walking we finally reach the room I was leading us to. I opened up the door and reveal a small room with masks. "Put one of these on," I say to him.

Spider grabbed a mask and I opened the door to the next room. It was a room filled with plants that were native to Pandora. "Why are there so many plants in here?" Spider asked.

"For research," I replied. Then spider walked over to me "stand very still" said spider, and then he whacked me on the top of my head. "Ow, what the heck was that for!?" I say "you had a bug on your head," he said while shrugging his shoulders.

Then I hit him on the arm, "HEY what was that for!?" He said "bug," I say while trying to hold back the grin on my face.

After a while of staying in the plant room, I take him back to the lab where his room is. "Meet me back here tonight I wanna show you something," said spider. "Ok see you then"

I walk off back down the all-white plain corridor, thinking about the day I just had there were so many emotions going through my head. I was starting to like spider and not just as a friend way. Whenever he would touch me it was like there were a million butterflies in my stomach, but it could never work out we were too different. He grew up in the wild being free, I grew up in a lab most of my life.

I just couldn't get him off my mind and I needed to know if he felt the same. I barely knew him but it felt like I have known him for years.
