Spiders pov

I watched as she walked into the cave, her eyes glowing from the bioluminescent light. "It's beautiful," she whispered. I replied, "Yeah it is." Hazel looked back and locked eyes with me.

I walked up to her and grabbed her waist with one hand and pushed some hair out of her mask with the other one. Hazel tilted her head while looking up at me. "I would kiss you so much if it wasn't for this dumb mask," I said while resting the palm of one hand on the side of her mask.

She giggled, "You know the masks don't stop us from doing everything.."

I looked her in the eyes and grinned. Hazel put her arm on my chest a softly pushed me so that I was sitting on the floor. She then sat on top of me so that she was straddling me.

As she rearranged herself on top of me I placed my hands on her hips. Her lips parted as she began to speak, I already knew what she was going to ask so I just gave her a nod.

I watched as she untied my loincloth and then hers. I reached up and untied her top from behind her neck. I slid my hands down her body and flipped her over so that I was now on top. "Are you sure?" "Yes," she replied while looking straight into my eyes. I watched as her gaze softened.

I prepared myself and then put it in. I felt more connected to her more than ever, she wrapped her hands around my neck and slowly closed her eyes.

My mask started to steam up.

10 minutes later

As I collapsed next on the soft grass she did the same. I wrapped my arm around her while she played with a piece of my hair with her fingertips.

I noticed that she slowly began to drop my hair out of her hand and close her eyes. She had fallen asleep, I watched as she took deep breaths in and out. I close my eyes and pulled her closer to me.

Hazel pov

The next morning

My eyes flicked open, and as I adjusted to the bright light I saw a glowing white light. That's strange the sun usually wasn't that bright. "Oh shit," I gasped.

I finally came to my senses and realised I was back in my room. I ripped the blanket off of me and stepped out of bed. My room was now different, my window was protected by thick metal bars. The door flung open and I saw my mother standing there.

"Hazel my darling, we have finally reunited," she spoke in a calm tone. I didn't meet her eyes, "Where is he?" "You don't need to worry about him, we will take care of that for you."

My eyes widened, what was that meant to mean? "What do you mean by taking care of him?" My voice sounded terrified.

My mother walked over to my bed and sat down, she softly tapped on the side of the bed next to her to tell me to sit next to her.

I reluctantly sat. "You betrayed my trust, Hazel, you think I wouldn't find you?"

I looked down at my feet, "Can I please just see him?"

She stood up quickly and pulled me out the door by my arm, as she pulled me down the dull white corridors I finally realised where we were heading to, the lab.....
