(Keith)
Lance and I walked around the doorway to see Pidge, Coran, and Shiro sitting around the table, and I heard Hunk making noise in the kitchen. They all looked over to us, suddenly I felt nervous from their eyes, Pidge's especially as she looked at us with a slight knowing grin. I started to drift my hand towards lance without thinking, only to have Lance pull away quickly. At first I felt a little mad, before I remembered.
I pulled my own hand back, and put on my usual apathetic look.

"Hey guys, welcome back. Did you miss me? I know you did!" Lance said in his usual cocky tone. Before I had found that tone irritating, now it brought a slight twitch to the corner of my lips, that I quickly suppressed. Shiro smiled.
"No cuts, no blood, or stab wounds. That's a good sign." Shiro said, eyeballing them as they walked towards the table.
"What?" Lance said shrugging. "You wanted us to get along, and I always follow orders."
Even Shiro rolled his eyes at that.

"Well, either way I'm glad your both still alive." Shiro finished, before taking a bite of goo.

"What's Hunk making?" Lance asked, quickly drifting his stride from the table to the kitchen. I happily followed to get away from their stares. "Not sure." Pidge said.
Lance entered the kitchen first, and as I saw his eyes brighten, I had a clue what Hunk was making.

"Yes, yes, and yes to all of this!" Lance said, spreading his arms out as we approached the counter top with a large bowl of batter, and a pan frying butter, popping and crackling as Hunk measured out the batter. Hunk looked up.

"Oh hey guys! What ar-" Lance cut him off.
"You're sharing that, right?" He said, pointing to the pancake batter. Hunk shrugged. "I could spare a couple." He said, pouring the mixture into the pan. Lance smiled wide, and. I couldn't help but smile too, as I watched him be hypnotized by the food. "Hey, guys, watch this for me. I gotta get some more eggs." Hunk said, as he handed Lance the spatula, and walked out of the kitchen.

Lance walked to the pancakes, and I stood next to him. Lance glanced over to me after a minute, then looked away. "What?" I asked. Lance shrugged. "Oh nothing."
I crossed my arms. Lance looked back to me and smiled, then looked around the kitchen with squinted eyes. "Looks like we're alone." He said quietly.

"And Hunk is about to come back" I said, leaning against the counter as Lance's eyes dropped from mine to my lips. I began to blush, and quickly looked away.
"Sure you don't wanna...sit on the counter? Nothing suspicious about that." Lance said in what was clearly supposed to be a sexy tone.

I smiled, but didn't move. Lance let out a disappointed breath, and flipped another pancake. "On the bright side." I began. "You got your pancakes now."

Lance looked over to me, and winked with a sad pout. "I'd rather have you." He said.

I tried to turn away, but instead I decided to move behind Lance and wrap my arms around him, once I made sure the room was clear. He clasped my hands in front of him. "You know, it'll probably take Hunk awhile to find those eggs." Lance said over his shoulder, swaying side to side slightly.

"And wha- Wait...where does Hunk even get eggs up here?" I asked. Lance stopped swaying. "That's....a really good question."
After a moment, Lance flipped the pancakes again, they had gotten dark and burned a little. "You can have those ones." I said to Lance's back. "Oh yeah?" He started loudly. "Well you can...uh, okay. Yeah, I'll eat these ones."

I pulled back a few inches. "What was that?"
I asked with a chuckle. "Oh, uh... nothing. Just, a bad habit." I pondered that for a moment.

"Were you going to say something mean?" I asked. Lance turned around in my arms, but stayed just as close. He had an embarrassed smile on his face. "Like I said, a bad habit."
I looked at him for a moment longer, before he spoke. "I...I'm sorry for how I always acted. I just-" as Lance spoke, I became more consciously aware of where we were, and that the others were just outside the door.
