An hour or so had gone by since Tom stormed out of the house. Currently, the 3 remaining boys and Sophie were sat on the couch watching Return Of The Insane Zombie Pirates From Hell 4 with popcorn.
"This is so nostalgic. It's like I've just moved in again and we're watching the 3rd instalment." Sophie smiles fondly, taking a swig of her fizzy orange drink.
"Yep. Couldn't have said it better myself." Tord agrees, tossing a piece of popcorn into his mouth.
The two of them turn back to the movie where Sophie jumps in surprise as a jumpscare flashes on to the screen, startling Matt at the same time, with some characters in the film getting brutally murdered by the zombie pirates.
"No!!" Matt screams. "My popcorn's all over the floor."
"Sorry Matt. Didn't mean to scare you." The girl apologizes.
Tord chuckles while Edd, who had been pretty quiet, looks at the couch-shaped hole in the wall.
"Hm, I wonder when Tom's getting back?" He wonders. "He's been gone for a while now."
"Shh, Edd! This is the best part!" Tord grins, excited.
The screen shows the captain of the zombie pirates plunging their hook into the flesh of one of the main character's friends, tearing them up and eating them. Tord grins maliciously while Sophie flinches at the sight of the hook going to pluck an eyeball out.
"Ooo, brutal." The norwegian laughs.
"I hope he's okay." Edd sighs.
"Oh don't worry. He's only a zombie pirate." Tord reassures him, completely misunderstanding what Edd meant.
"I think he's talking about Tom, Tord." Sophie corrects him.
"Oh, pfft. Eh, he'll be fine." Tord quickly says, throwing more popcorn into his mouth.
Sophie sighs, her mind wandering elsewhere. She couldn't help but be worried about him, and she felt responsible for him storming out. Sure Tord pushed all the buttons, but maybe if she hadn't repeated his line of 'Classic stupid Tom', he wouldn't have freaked out like that.
"Soph?"
The girl is brought back to reality as Edd nudges her shoulder.
"You okay?"
"Oh, yeah. I'm okay." She mutters. "I think I just need some air, that's all."
"Well, okay. You want us to pause the movie?" Edd asks as she walks to the front door.
"That's okay, you guys can keep watching without me. I don't mind."
Sophie wanders outside while the other boys remain where they are. Tord props his popcorn aside in Edd's hands.
"Uh, excuse me Edd. I need the bathroom. I'll be right back." Tord says, getting up and going upstairs.

Sophie stuffs her hands into her hoodie pockets, gazing down the pavement where Tom was last seen. Leaning against the fence she sighs, admiring the blue skies with puffy white clouds floating by.
"Hello Soph!" A voice from behind greets her. The girl jolts in surprise and turns around, only to find Jon there smiling.
"Oh, hey Jon."
"What's wrong? You seem sad about something." He asks, arms folded and lying on the fence. "I thought you'd be happy about Tord coming back."
"How do you know that he's back?"
