Adjusting her pallu yet again, Nandini toyed with the edge of her saree. Saree on it's own was rather uncomfortable - she was not really used to having a part of her waist exposed!!

On top of that Nandini's head was reeling - it wasn't a mere attraction towards Veer!! She was actually in love with him - the man that she's set to get married in a few months' time!!

Lucky, isn't it? She her first crush turns into her first love - the same man that she's getting married to! It felt so surreal, Nandini couldn't believe it herself!

Am I a part of some cheesy romance story?! She wondered!

They kept driving in silence, Veer shooting occasional glances towards Nandini, but the latter was busy as her heart waged a war with her brain. She just couldn't believe she was in love with a man!! She couldn't believe this was her life in fact!!

It was the fact that she was in love - having never experienced anything like this before, she didn't know the depth of her feelings, or how long these feelings would stay.

She had been attracted towards Veer from the moment she had seen him at Rohan and Priya's wedding - had she fallen in love with Veer at that moment or had it been just a crush?

How did she just fall in love with the guy, all of a sudden?? Shouldn't these feelings come with a warning sign like hey wait up next step is you falling in love with this person?!

What will happen next?

"You're awfully silent... all okay?" Veer asked, sounding concerned.

And it brought Nandini to reality.

"Yeah... I was just wondering... Where are we going?" Nandini asked, composing herself. She adjusted her pallu again. The air-con was tickling her waist. This damn saree!!

The realisation that she was in love with Veer still made her heart skip a beat everytime the thought popped in her mind.

"We're going to your place" Veer smiled brightly.

Nandini pouted - so this wasn't a date?

"That's it?" She asked, hardly able to contain the disappointment in her voice.

Veer smirked.

"You're not happy to see me! So why should we bother with anything?!" He sighed, faking a sniff.

"I never said that!" Nandini gasped, turning to face him, her eyes round with shock.

But Veer's smirk made her freeze - did she let the cat out of the bag?

She bit her lip, and then giggled to break the silence.

"We're going to your place so that you can fresh up, and that I can catch up with my to-be in-laws, before we go for our wedding shopping" Veer smiled brightly.

Nandini kept blinking at him - this dude really flew thousands of miles just for wedding shopping? Rich people are certainly a different niche aren't they?

Hey she's not complaining that he's here!

"We are using the next 1 week for our wedding shopping.." Veer added, a different twinkle in his eyes.

Nandini's heart lept - 1 week of wedding shopping with Veer? She'd happily live in those stores the whole week since Veer will be joining her for the shopping!

"We will require a week... our clothes for the different occasions... we have to give our measurements, and then decide on the designs, then the jewellery...." Veer trailed off.

But this list made Nandini feel exhausted! Sure, a week with her crush sounded fun, but nothing was worth one week of shopping!!

It's not that she didn't like shopping - she loved shopping just like any normal girl!! It's just that, shopping with elders means you have to respect their opinion, take into consideration their suggestions, which means that the dress she'd finally be buying would be anything but her desired dress!
