*Jungkook's POV *
"How many TIMES do I have to tell you? GET OUT OF MY FUCKING ROOM!" I shout at my girlfriend. We've been together for half a year and yet every time we see each other. It's this constant cycle of sex and asking for money. Why are there no decent girls out there!
I forcefully threw my paper work on the floor and broke my glass sculpture, by throwing it at the wall. My anger was palpable which was evident from my actions.
She was trembling in the seat in front of me. Her breathing uneven from her constant flinches.
I was cold. I wasn't bothered. I had lost my emotion to care a long time ago. Ever since Seol, it's as if she had taken my kindness with her, leaving me with nothing but bitterness and anguish.
"LILA, GET OUT OF MY FUCKING ROOM NOW!" She stumbles out and the door closes behind her.
Emails and files has overflowed my computer from countless nights of no sleep. My sleep schedule was fucked. 3 hours if lucky.
I twisted my wrist and glanced at my watch. 6:30pm.
I squeeze my eyes shut and pinch the bridge of my nose. Thinking to myself. What do I do?
Heading downstairs, I see Lila on the sofa waiting patiently. She sits quietly staring at the blank TV.
"Jungkook baby, where are you going? I thought we could have fun tonight, in your bedroom. Or in any room I suppose." She looks at me with pleading eyes.
I scoff and leave the house ignoring her.
*Seol's POV*
"Mango, you ready to see your grandmother?" I say whilst reaching her level to zip her jacket and wrapping a scarf around her neck.
She nodded enthusiastically while playing with her toys we had recently brought her from the shops.
"Okay! Let's go to her house then!" I say. Grabbing her hand and walking to the car.
I strapped her into the seat and sat in the passenger seat. Jimin was already ready in the car, waiting for me and Mango.
"Hi baby." Jimin holds my hand and kisses my cheek. I smile and glance at Mango to make sure she is okay.
"Ready Mango?" Jimin asks Mango, in that she replied with an excited noise. Words which I cannot decipher since she is distracted with her toys.
"So how was your day princess?" Jimin asks me.
"Same old I suppose. Played with Mango. Did some cleaning and then read a book."
"Aw I'm sorry baby. I'll make sure to take you out. I've been so busy with work and-"
"Jimin it's okay. Sorry I didn't mean to sound rude. I understand you have a busy schedule. And I'm more than happy staying at home. You know that." I give him a kiss and intertwine my fingers with his free hand resting on the armrest.
"Of course baby. I love you."
After sometime we arrive at the destination. Jimin's mother was very high class and liked to live in the countryside. Away from the busy streets. I couldn't blame her. There had been multiple nights of staying awake because of the frantic city life. But again, the city was calm and peaceful, for me. I liked having a busy life. It kept me busy from my thoughts.
"I'll pick you up in three days. Does that sound good?" I bend down to Mango's level, taking her shoes and coat off.
"Now you can watch as much TV as you like and eat all the snacks you want without daddy telling you off." I whisper into her ear discreetly, but from everyone's glances. It didn't seem so discrete.
"I'll miss you." She hugs me and runs off into the house somewhere.
I jump up and walk back to the car as Jimin sits there patiently. As I sit comfortably in my seat, Jimin starts to drive off.
"What did you want to talk about Jimin?" I ask.
*Jimin's POV*
I was walking back to my car with a brand new toy I bought for Mango yet again. It has become a weekly routine which wasn't intentional. I figured after the divorce she would miss her mum, but no, it's totally the opposite.
She has fallen in love with Seol and only plays with her toys when we both are busy. Maybe making dinner, doing work or just needing us time.
Admiring the toy, my shoulder had bumped into someone. I fixed my posture quickly. However, the women I had bumped into dropped her coffee onto the floor. It looked like she had just brought it. The steam was still visible after being spread on the floor.
"I'm so sorry. I didn't see where I was going." She fixes her clothes and stares up at me.
"L-Lily?"
"Jimin? Oh my gosh I haven't seen you in like... forever."
"Yeah I know right. It's crazy. How have you been?"
"Yeah I've been managing thanks. Do you want to join me for some coffee, as yeah." She stares at her remaining coffee.
I feel forced to accept this. Bad timing. I really do hate myself sometimes.
"Yeah sure, why not."
We head to the nearest coffee shop and talk about our recent lives. Overlooking the crowded city. She drinks elegantly, with her long golden earrings dangling beside her ears and makeup gorgeously painted over her face.
"There's nothing more peaceful then drinking coffee with a good friend." She speaks taking a sip of her coffee.
Friend
I swirl my coffee in the cup and stay silent.
"By the way, how is Mango? She's still my little girl and will always be, even though she is seven. That's hard to believe. I remember when I was pregnant with her and we had shared so many memories together."
"Yeah, she's turning eight next week. Time really does fly." I pretend to drink my coffee to avoid the awkwardness.
"We should celebrate, right? For our little girl. We could go out somewhere nice to eat. I'll bring my husband and then-"
"Li-Lily, listen. I don't know if I'm overthinking this, but you never used to care about Mango like this. Yeah you'll cook for her and bathe her, but you had never seemed to care for Mango, despite being her biological mother. She needed you, but you were never there, because you went out, leaving Mango at your friend's house and I would be working my ass off to make some money for us."
"Jimin."
"Don't you think that's unfair, Lily? Because I think it is. It's ignorant and selfish. She our god damm daughter for god sakes!"
"Jimin, maybe I've changed. What if I really do want to become a loving mother towards Mango."
"I'm afraid it's too late for that." Leaving my untouched coffee on the table and heading out of the shop.
