Finally, moms out of the hospital! Mary thought, ugh, but schools starting today..
Mary began getting out of bed, eating her breakfast and heading out the door "bye mom! Love you." She smiled, she had to walk to school but its fine.
She got to school after what felt like forever, she entered the doors with crowded hallways and chattering.
A group of people glanced over, laughing and whispering, she ignored it as she walked to lunch.
She sat at a table, resting her head as she already ate, she didnt wanna eat the school food either..
A guy came and sat down with Mary.
"Whats a girl like you sitting alone?" The guy smiled, Mary got butterflies and looked at him.
"Romeo." The guy said, Mary got stuck in his gaze, she blinked and finally spoke.
"Mary.." She watched romeo with fluttered cheeks just staring at him awkwardly "whats wrong doll?" He said sarcastically, She gave out a little gasp and shook her head in realization "huh?"
He gave a small laugh going on "just jokingg" she smiled and the bell rang for the next class, she got up saying bye, soon thinking about galloper, she hadn't really seen her lately.
"Maryy! Ugh!" A boy spoke, slapping her to wake her up "augh!-" Mary screamed a bit, ugh, it was romeo waking her up in the middle of class "your gonna get detention, wake up" he whispered and joked, smiling and giggled a bit, Mary not giving back the same energy and huffing and puffing.
It was the end of class, she packed up her bags and a group of people were laughing and glaring at Mary, she decided to stand up for herself this time.
Mary walked up, one of the girls saying "aww look miss horse girl!" They all spoke, Mary looking at them and shoved them into one of the desks, slapping them across the face.
The girl gasped, surprisingly she didn't do anything, guess she isn't as tough as she sounds..
Mary walked off like nothing happened, surprisingly no one had snitched on her yet.
<time skip>
Finally! Schools over Mary briefly sighed to herself, heading out of class.
"Hey cutie" a voice spoke from behind her, small problem.. it wasn't Romeo.
Mary jumped, slowly looking behind her to some tall guy, she glanced in a bit of confusion.
"Can i get your phone number?" She denied, but the guy wouldnt leave her alone
"Leave me alo-" Mary got cut off, startled as Romeo smacked the guy in the face.
"She said leave her alone" Romeo had stood up for her, butterfly's in her stomach she shyly said thank you.
She began to walk home, once again but footsteps from behind, ugh Mary thought, what was it this time?
Mary had turned around to see Romeo again, he offered to walk her home, she was hesitant but accepted the kind offer.
They had fun walking to her house, chatting about their lives and random stuff, Mary seemed to have a liking to Romeo..
<time skip>
it was a week later since school started, very boring, she hadn't been seeing galloper as much as she used to.
It was the end of school, her mom let Romeo sleep over, Mary bursting with excitement as her and Romeo got to her house.
"Ill let our mom make us some food and can i show you-.." she cut herself off trying to think of a explanation of what she wanted to tell him.
"Someon- some- something?" She stuttered alot trying to pick the right words, Romeo started giggling at her struggle, "hey its not funny- get back here!" She chased Romeo into the back yard.
They started play fighting, soon enough they both exhausted in the back yard, Mary got up pulling Romeo up, bring him through the underbrush and trees, he stopped and asked "where are we goinggg" he whined, Mary telling him it was a suprise.
They made it to the big field, Romeo gasping as a big creature was running towards them, he backed up tapping Mary urgently to get out of here.
"Relaxx its just galloper! She wont hurt us, matter a fact.. thats what i wanted to show you."
galloper made it all the way to them Romeo still scared, soon reaching out to pet the creature, who is so called galloper.
galloper snorted, realizing it was a new person, and then relaxed letting Romeo pet her.
"See?" Mary stated, giggling as she gave galloper a big hug.
Romeo smiled a bit, giving Mary a small kiss on the cheek, Mary turning as red as a cherry.
"Aww someone flustered?" Romeo gave out a little giggle as Mary shoved him, "shut upp!!" She yelled.
They both sat down watching the sunset, "oh no- we have to go back, my moms gonna be mad!" Romeo nodded, as they both raced back, racing each other as they giggled, holding hands.
