It began to pour outside, Mary anxiously calling her mother over and over, her eyes tearing up, she jumped when she got a call.
"h..hello?" Mary spoke in stutters, and the unknown caller began speaking, Mary anxiously fiddled with her fingers, waiting patiently.
"Hello, is this Mary katz?" The caller said, Mary wiped her tears and said "yes.. it is, who.. who is this?"
"We're afraid to say, your mother, Brielle has gotten in a car crash, and is currently in the hospital."
"Wh..what?" Mary began trembling, tears falling down her cheeks, is she okay? Mary started sobbing.
She went to visit her mom in the hospital, she knocked on the door, a nurse opened it, Mary went in, and began crying a bit again, holding it in she said "i..is she gonna be okay?"
The nurse shrugged a bit, then answering.
"50/50 chance, but im sure she will, Mary."
She fell asleep in the hospital, soon waking up in the middle of the night, what am i gonna do? Mary thought..
