Your eyelids slowly lifted as the high-tech curtains sensed the time and fell away from the giant glass windows of your bedroom. The sunlight shone brightly, providing a wake-up call to you. Rays of sunlight bounced off a crystal-hanging lamp you had on your nightstand, casting rainbows across the room and creating a shimmering effect. You loved three-day weekends when you could sleep in and see this instead of waking up to the black inky sky. The wintertime always made it darker outside in the morning which wasn't too pleasant to have to force yourself awake with. While the sunlight seemed to help you get up naturally.

Your body was a bit achy, as you had decided to finish all your homework last night to be free today since there wasn't any school. It seemed to be pretty late in the morning already so after spending about 15 minutes in bed on your phone, you finally got up. The floors were still cold despite the sun's rays and as you put your feet on the floor your toes curled due to the chill. Your pajama pants hung loosely as you meandered toward the adjacent bathroom.

You asked JARVIS to bring you some ice, and he got to that as you brushed through the knotted mess of a bun that fell out while you slept.

"Also, JARVIS?"

"Yes, Ms. Stark?"

"What time is it?" you asked, a bit afraid of how late you had slept in. The sun was quite brightly shining through your perfectly cleaned glass windows.

"It is 10:06 a.m.," the AI responded.

Well, it was a good departure from your regular routine of not sleeping in due to your dad or one of the Avengers needing something.

"Thanks!" you called out to the AI. Even if it didn't register emotion very well, you always made sure to thank it. You'd rather be on a highly intelligent computer's good side than its bad side.

Once your hair was thoroughly sorted out, which involved a lot of detangling and then braiding it to the side in a neat plait since it was the weekend.

You took the ice JARVIS had brought you and iced your under eyes, it was a trick you had learned to get rid of the horrendous eye bags you acquired staying up late.

You decided on what you wanted to wear—picking out a pair of maroon name-brand sweatpants and a random hoodie since it was cold. Then, you put on a pair of your warmest fuzzy socks and checked your nightstand to see the weather on the small device. 55°F.

You pocketed your phone and slipped out your door, ready for a delicious breakfast.

Usually, the Avengers were up pretty early excluding Clint and Thor. So you made breakfast for yourself, but today seemed to be everyone's groggy morning and you were one of the first ones up.
