this is something where reader has bat ears like mavis from hotel Transylvania...idk it just came to mind and might be stupid. (Also this is kinda short FYI)

"Hey, why do you wear those headphones all the time? You should take them off." Wednesday said, reaching for my headphones before I panicked and grabbed her wrist.
"NO! I mean... no, Wednesday I wear them for a reason." I Replied, letting go of her hand. As soon as I did her arm was back at her side as it is normally she shrugged and walked away.

"Will you let me take them off this time? Your headphones, I mean." Wednesday asked, yet again grabbing the ear part of my headphones and slightly moving it until I stop her again.
"Wednesday, I'll let you when I'm ready but I'm not now and most likely won't be until much later." I said softly and she just shrugged and got back to her desk to continue her writing time.
"Hey! wait you're just gonna leave me here after all that! cmon! your tongue was in my mouth like 30 seconds ago!" I exclaimed, starting to get up to go back over to her but she just looked back and said
"Well, I'm no longer interested in this situation." And got back to writing.
"Geez, fine ill let you see what's under my headphones if you just come back and finish what you started." At that Wednesday slightly smiled and walked back over to her bed, sitting next to me.
she took off my headphones carefully and had to bite back a laugh at how stupid hiding something as little as this is in a school of outcasts.
"You have bat ears? That's it?" Wednesday said, holding back the urge to touch one
"Well, it's embarrassing! I don't want people to stare at me for having fucked up looking ears!" I literally almost yelled this but I kept my voice down because of how sensitive my hearing is.
"Your ears aren't 'Fucked up looking'" Wednesday put air quotations around what she was quoting and I just sighed and whispered
"Well then, are you gonna keep your deal?"
"Maybe" I gave her a quick kiss before leaning back in and continuing our make out session.
