In a world profoundly altered by a century-old virus, Takemichi Hanagaki finds himself thrust into a reality he barely recognizes.
Ambushed one night in a dark alley, he is left unconscious and awakens in a sterile white hospital room, bewildered and disoriented. His life, as he knew it, is in pieces, and he soon discovers that his situation is far from ordinary.
200 Years Ago...
A mysterious virus, known as Gender Alteration Syndrome (GAS), reshaped the world. It emerged suddenly, with a man stumbling into a hospital, claiming that something within him had changed drastically.
Dismissed as delusional due to the era's limited medical understanding, the virus quickly spread, engulfing the globe and leaving lasting scars. The virus, passed down through generations, introduced two distinct types:
Animu:
Affects men, causing them to develop a uterus while losing their ability to produce sperm. This variant led to societal stigma and severe discrimination, with affected individuals often forced into hiding.
Animu: Affects women, replacing the uterus with an organ akin to male genitalia capable of producing sperm. This drastic transformation led to a significant reduction in the female population and widespread emotional and physical trauma.

Takemichi, suffering from amnesia due to the unknown event, has been living a peaceful life in a new country for the past six years.
Oblivious to his past life and the impact of his disappearance on those he once knew, he now enjoys a content life with his precious children. But as they return to Japan at the request of his children, Takemichi’s tranquil existence is upended.
He is confronted by the haunting truths of his forgotten past and the societal changes wrought by GAS.
Takemichi, an Anima, finds himself navigating a world where his identity and past decisions have lingering effects.
Will Takemichi piece together the fragments of his past while embracing his new reality?
Can he reconcile his identity as an Anima with the life he has built for himself and his children?
The journey of takemichi's new life, with his family. Thought it's start with a simple and slow, slowly but surely people in his past would appear one by one.
