I open the door for him and offered him a glass of water.

—Better? —I ask making sure that he feels more at peace. He cried a lot because of me. I knew that I hurt him a lot but seeing it myself feels more intense.

Once he finishes the whole glass, he gave it back to me and then he sit on the couch. —Kim... I don't know if I can do it.

—Hey, hey, listen...— I kneel in front of him holding his hands in mine as soon I saw he was about to get nervous and hide his face in them—I know that our relationship didn't begin in the best circumstances. I was a fool and an idiot for using you for my personal interest and you may not forgive me for everything I hid and lied to you. Please, don't ever forgive me because I don't deserve it. But, please, trust that my feelings for you are pure and true. You don't know how much I missed you and regret everything I did that hurt your heart.

He still wouldn't look at me so I carefully cupped his cheeks to lift his head so I could get him to look at me.

—Porsché, right now there is a war going on and the future is being rewritten. I have a role to play in my father's plans, but no one can keep you out of my life. I can't keep you out of it.

He was surprised by my confession, so I let him assimilate the information for a few seconds. Or so I planned to do until I remembered he is still wearing the hair dye.

—Before we talk more, you need to wash that off— I pointed to his head —you're going to lose your hair if you keep it on any longer.

He looked at me quizzically for a moment until his eyes widened and with his fingertips, he touched his hair. When he saw that his fingers were stained with the blue dye he looked at me a little scared.

—Easy, take it off here. Go wash it, I'll bring you some clothes in a moment. You remember where the bathroom is, don't you? —I asked uncertainly what to expect from him. He has been here several times but I don't know if he paid attention to his surroundings because he always had his eyes on me when I gave him lessons here.

—Alright... and yes, I remember — he answered somewhat doubtfully, but started his way to the bathroom that was near my room. But before he was even near the door he turned to look at me. —Porsche doesn't know I'm here.

—I'll take care of telling Kinn to tell him.

—How do you know they're together?

—I'm sure your brother isn't with Vegas and that's enough for Kinn to protect him even if he's not one hundred percent on his side.

With that, Porsché seemed satisfied and followed the remaining path to the bathroom.

I grabbed my cell phone to dial Kinn, not sure how things are at the house, but just a few seconds is enough to let him know that the little one is safe with me.

—Kim, this is not a good time...— I heard my brother's agitated voice as gunshots rang out in the background.

—I know, just tell Porsche that the little one is safe with me. The second family tried to kidnap him.

He was silent for a few seconds analyzing the information. Surely connecting details with the last time I called him and it was exactly because they had kidnapped Ché.

—Okay, but then we have to talk about it.

—Yeah, whatever. Oh and send someone to clean up some bodies that are in Yok's bar.

—Messing up the bars like the old days? —With his voice still agitated I can't decode if he's accusing or making fun of me because he knows I had already left that side behind a couple of years ago and he himself warned me that it would be hard to leave it just like that.
