"jazmine celine onfroy! give that toy back to your sister!" vea exclaimed.
"yes ma'am." five-year-old jazmine said, looking down.
"aplogize please, ma'am."
"i'm sorry i took your dolly ji." jazmine apologized.
"that's okay jaz. you can have this one and we can play together!" jianna smiled at her twin sister and jazmine smiled back.
"mommy?" jahvea said, rubbing his eyes standing at the stairs.
"good morning my little prince." vea smiled at her oldest child. "come give mommy cuddles."
the little boy smiled and climbled on the couch with his mother, laying his head on her chest. "where's daddy?"
"he went to get breakfast for us. uncle ski is coming to get you later."
"what about minnie and jiji?" the older brother asked.
vea smiled. he was always thinking about them, jahvea made the best big brother.
"auntie ty and her girlfriend are coming to get them. daddy and i have to go to ghe doctor to check on the baby." vea pointed out.
jahvea touched her stomach and smiled. "when are they coming?"
"five more months." vea told him.
"i hope he's a boy so jahjah will have someone to play games with mommy." jazmine said.
"yeah. cos he doesn't play tea party with us." jianna agreed.
"that's because he's a big boy, girls." jahseh said, setting the bags of food down on the table.
"daddy!" the children yelled happily and the girls jumped on their father. jahvea got down from the couch carefully and jahseh put the girls down and gave him a big hug too.
"y'all eat and then we'll get ready, alright?"
"yes mommy." they all chorused.

"you look just as beautiful as the day i met you." jahseh told vea as he was standing in the doorway of their room. it had changed over the years, a lot had changed but one thing that always stayed the same was jahseh and vea's love for eachother.
"thank you husband." she smiled and fixed her laces on her converse. she still had the same small stature she always had, she had gotten a bit thicker but jahseh loved it. she walked to him and stood on her toes a little to kiss him.
"we'll miss our reservation." he said, stopping her as the kissing got more intense. "you'll have me later, i promise."
"i better, onfroy." she said as she walked down the stairs.
"okay onfroy." he mocked and smacked her ass on the way down.
the drive to the restaurant was the long and jahseh opened the door for vea when they arrived. they were seated and vea ordered sparkling water for herself.
"i got something for you." jahseh said. he pulled out a ring box and opened it. every wedding anniversary, jahseh gets a new wedding ring for vea, this year was no different, just a bigger rock. he put the ring on her but that wasn't all, he lifted the sleeve of his jacket and vea smiled.
in the same spot as hers, jahseh had gotten 'vea celine' in the same font.
"i love you jahseh." she smiled.
"i love you more vea celine." he smiled and kissed her hand. "forever."
"forever and always."
