Chapter Six~The Basement (Nobody's Pov)

William walked into the house, it was decently quiet and quite dark. He let out a sigh of relief, thinking he was safe. Oh well...

William closed the door behind him and took a few steps forwards. The silence was scary, it normally isn't this quiet.. He headed in the direction of the stairs, trailing his hand across the wall as he went. He was searching for the light switch. Then, his hand hit something. It wasn't a switch,
It was... a doorknob.? He didn't recognize the doorknob, it was different than the rest of the doorknobs in the house. William turned the circular knob and slowly pulled the door open.

He took a step into the dark room, then another, then-

THUD THUD THUD THUD THUD

William fell down a staircase, straight onto a cold, concrete floor. He hit his head quite hard on the floor, to the point where he was dizzy and even with a light on in the corner of the room, he could barely see from the whole room spinning, his vision was blurry and he felt like he was about to pass out. Then, William saw someone in the corner next to the light. The figure walked closer, and closer, and closer, until they were standing right in front of William, who was still laying on the floor

The figure kicked him in the stomach and he let out a cough and a small squealing noise.
"Night night." The figure said. then, they smacked William in the head with a heavy item.

All he could see was black....
