Chapter 1: First Meeting

A/N - Let's begin this with a bang though fair warning this will be written on my phone so I can't promise the best quality bit I will do my best.

Velvet's POV

*I look around as more students from other schools are coming into the school not many catch my attention as I take pictures of some with their weapons out as if showing off to their friends as I see a group of four walk by with two girls and two guys that seem a bit strange as I tilt my head as I don't see them showing off really well at least not in a way that is easy to spot as I look closer I see the guy with almost empty E/C not holding a weapon but I can't really see much else about as they vanish into the building as I shake my head and continue to take pictures of some students with weapons while trying to clear my head of that student with empty looking eyes which causes me to get lost in thought temporarily*

His eyes… they seemed strange… unless he had gone through some sort of trauma for them to be that empty isn't normal but if he had why hasn't he been helped? He almost seemed upset to be here… why though?

*My thoughts are interrupted by my ears getting pulled upwards causing me to yelp softly from shock*

Cardin: “Would you look at this some trash delivered itself to us.”

Velvet: “Please let go of my eyes Cardin it hurts”

*He ignored my words as his teammates seemed to be chuckling at my pain as I close my eyes trying to ignore the pain until I hear a voice that's not them or anyone I know*

???: “Hey pebbles for the brain didn’t you hear her let go of her ears.”

*My eyes open as I see him once again the boy with empty eyes looking dead into Cardin's eyes causing him to instinctively let go from surprise before he fusses*

Cardin: “Who do you think you are just!? Do you think just because you are from a different school that it gives you the right to tell me what t-”

*I see him instantly grab cardin by his ear and start pulling without any emotion in his eyes nor voice as he speaks into his ears while pulling with enough force that it's turning red*

You: “Would you look at that some trash washed up? Should I take it out, I probably don't want to dirty the path of some students.”

*Without hesitation I see him pull harder then expected and force Cardin completely off his feet and into his teammates before letting him go as they go flying several feet before skidding across the ground for a few additional feet as he turns to me and softly rubs my ears where they were being pulled from before softly patting my head as I look up to him and see his empty E/C eyes as I they had seen to much in their sight causing me to unintentionally softly place my hand along his face and softly rub it as well causing him to blink in surprise from my action which even I am unsure as to why I did so as he looks at me questioningly*

Velvet: “I don't know actually it just kind of feels natural…”

*He nods slightly as he lets me do so as I do so a bit longer before pulling my hand away as he gently pats my head before starting to walk away as I try to reach out towards him but stopping myself as I look at my hand wondering why I am trying to talk to him more*

Why? We have just met yet at the same time he reminds me of him… but it's been years and I'm sure he was a faunus but their eyes are the same color… yet the person seemed so familiar to me…

*I shake my head trying to clear my head with little success as you had already long since walked away as I sigh while heading towards my dorm to look at the weapons that I took photos of but at the same time out of it until coco gets my attention barely at that as I look towards her as she speaks*

Coco: “You good Velvet you seem out of it do we need to beat up Cardin for you? Or do we need to go shopping for some more clothes”

Velvet: “N-no it's okay Coco that's not necessary I was just thinking about some things from the past”

*Coco lowers her glasses while looking into my eyes causing me to nervously look away from her gaze as she speaks*

Coco: “Something happened, are you thinking of your lost crush?”

*I start blushing while looking towards the floor refusing to answer that question as Coco almost audibly smirks and starts to describe my crush from what I remembered*

Coco: “Let's see his name was Y/N his hair was H/C and eyes that shined almost like E/C gems with similar rabbit ears to your own that made you almost squeal in glee when he would softly caress your ears with a touch so gentle that you would have sworn that you were being touched by a cloud is that who you are thinking of velvet?~”

*I started blushing covering my face in embarrassment from her talking about my crush from when me and him were much younger but before he vanished one day and wasn't ever found either as the memories of him vanishing the very next day starts to sadden me as I shake my head attempting to clear my head from all the thoughts of him having vanished as the image of the other student with empty eyes softly touching my ears goes through my mind as his eyes seemed distant at that moment which made me touch his cheek which seemed to confuse him*

Why did he seem so familiar? He clearly was a human so why how come he seemed familiar but his scent was completely different? It smelled of death only yet he seemed kind…

A/N - and done hm I probably could have done better but it's just me writing for fun so till next time.
