Chapter 3: Bugging The Eagle

A/N - Time to do this one let's see... ah I see

Your POV

*Without making any wasted movements or noises you wait as you strain your hearing wishing you still had your original ears as they would be much better than what you have now but they made for an obvious feature to base it off of as you hear Ozpin stand and walk towards the wall while speaking as you proceed to slide silently to the ledge and grip it with every ounce of finger strength that you can muster while listening*

Ozpin: "It makes it difficult to trust your words Lionheart especially sense the master assassin last I verified was almost fifty years old so th-"

Lionheart: "The newest one I have met in a disguise once. They were that of a young child almost after two days she came and collected them. After they were gone I had lost contact and could not find several of my family members. It took six months and we found them, as decomposing corpses seemingly having been gagged looking in front of a screen showing everything related to my actions. Ozpin if you don't believe me when I say that I only had rested every so often the assassin had made sure any and every room they could had been tapped, bugged, and had cameras everywhere and I had no clue until the bodies were found."

*I can tell Ozpin has gone silent as I silently click my shoes together and kick them into the bottom of the tower as i feel the spike spread and hook into the tower as I let my hands go as I drop into an angle impossible to see from the windows as I let my arms hang for a few mere moments as I go into my coat and fish for a wire tap as I pull it out I put it behind my ear as I silently grip the edge once again as the hooks had retracted into my shoes as I hear the turning of Ozpin as he is now looking towards the location of Lionheart as I start to shimmy myself to the ventilation system as I reach it I start to open it quietly while they talk*

Ozpin: "The chance Leonardo of the assassin being anywhere near here is just not likely in the first place we both know how the tower is the only way in is through the elevator and that is a one way entrance."

Lionheart: "Do you have a vent or a ventilation system? And if so, how new or old is it?"

*His words cause you to mentally curse him out as you don't fully enter it now and instead poke your head in and spot the spot you were looking for as you quickly and silently start to put the wire tap right under the crease of the vent exit location finishing it just barely in time as you pull your head out just in time while closing the way in you were using and bending out of the sun's way as you listen*

Ozpin: "Leonardo the chance of someone being able to climb into the vent is just not possible unless they are skin and bones much less if they would have to stay out of sight of the building sense its not even in an easy spot to get to the light would look different."

Lionheart: "Then check and make sure there's nothing in the vent and the vent wall."

Paranoid shit. But accurate.

*you hear the vent on the other side being opened as you shimmy to the location of the pillar on the other side of the elevator as you climb up towards the roof access point of it and open it and reclose it making as little sound as possible as you stand on the top of the elevator as it starts to go down meaning it was requested by someone down below as you ride it silently counting in your head the seconds until the door opens*

*the door opens as it then closes as you look up and start the count again to check the difference between times just to be on the safe side*

*the door opens again then closes once again as the person seemed to have entered the office to discuss things as you silently start to crawl along the back of the elevator carefully as you see the wires that help them move and stay their as you see further down a grated off location as you decide to make that the next location to go too as you proceed to shimmy to it as you get to it you continue to be silent as you hear the elevator doors open as you start moving faster as you get the grate open just as the doors close as you enter the grated off area reclosing the grate as the elevator passes by as you start to crawl towards your mental map of the center of the room reaching it as you see the wires leading towards the holographic device as you open it from under the floor and enter Ozpin's room as you quickly look around as the lights are off at the moment as they are activated from motion syncing from the elevator as you made sure of it from the wiring as you silently plant a wire tap into the holographic wires and go towards the desk and place additional taps and then you crawl onto the ceiling and start to place cameras into the spots looking from the lights themselves then placing more wires around the entire room same with cameras before going back to the hole*

This is quite difficult as I can't hear the elevator from the center of the room. It makes it harder to place more... Leonardo's place was much easier to bug no tower to the office.

*In the middle of the room and replacing the thing you used to enter from and crawling towards the grate as you reach it you hear the elevator pass back up causing you to exit the grate and start your descent down towards the bottom of the elevator by putting on your burn resistant gloves and sliding down and gripping tighter every so often to make sure you don't die from the speed of the falling as you reach the very bottom of the elevator you pry the door open in a way that's not able to be noticed from quick glances as you see your true primary target of the fall maiden as you gently place your gloved hand on the outside of it for a short moment before proceeding to bug, wire, and place cameras in this room as well silently before re entering the elevator and forcing it closed again as you look up and see the very bottom of it showing that no one is in the office at the moment as you silently climb on top of the elevator and open the top of it and hang upside down and start to tap the top of it before exiting it again and closing the top again as you sit cross legged waiting*

...now Salem you have access to normally hidden information... this mission doesn't seem worth it to me... well at least I got to see you again Velvet... but you'll never recognize me looking like this...
