I will leave you notes
Je te laisserai des motsHis blue eyes tried to compete with his calloused fingers that journeyed upon the old envelope. Levi had become a cave of soundless abyss after her death. "Captain, you haven't read it, yet?" Onyankopon entered the mute room with a cup of tea. "No." Levi unhanded the envelope upon the table, his eyes remained on the name behind it. The tea steadied the turbulent abyss from within him.
under your door
En-dessous de ta porteThe ocean beyond the glass had revealed its bright sapphires, "Captain, I'll be on my way to the market, would you like me to get you anything?" Onyankopon put on his coat and hat. "No." Levi tried to outstare the envelope in his hand. Onyankapon frowned at the unhappy sight, made his way out onto the streets.
Below the singing walls
En-dessous de les murs qui chantentHis eyes closed. The sound of sea lulled him further into deep sleep, the worn envelope in hand fell from his grip. "Hanji!" Levi exclaimed, outreaching into the dark sky. He felt a calloused, warm hand claim his bandaged hand, the hand hovered over him to touch his forehead. Levi realised his endless pants, the racing bullets of sweat upon his face and the tears. The ethereal whispers that eased him.
Close to where your feet pass
Tout près de la place où tes pieds passent"Captain!" Onyankopon disturbed his mourning dream, "Captain, are you alright?" Onyankopon grew concerned over his bloodless colour. "Hanji! She was here..." Levi looked around the room for a sign of the person but she wasn't there. "I'm sorry, Captain." Onyankopon became teary from his disheartening state. "The envelope..." Levi ran his hand across the table to realise its disappearance. "Where is it, Onyankopon? Where is it?" Levi barked, his blue eyes noticed the envelope on the floor.
Hidden in the holes of your couch
Cachés dans les trous de ton divanIt was crumpled up. "I must've... done this." Levi wearily, decided to unfold the envelope and extract the letter.
"Dear Levi Ackerman,
I've written to you, in case, I'm not there to speak on these hidden feelings. Yes, hidden feelings, Levi. I still remember the first time I saw you, that breathtaking sight of you bringing down two 15 meters, that exciting memory... It was then and there, Levi... that I realised that all of us needed you. I needed you... I've come to realise this, Levi. I've come to miss the days where we were ignorant of the truth, the days where we were drawn to one another in spite of the complaints. The truth of our world begun to reveal the passion in our dance, we became closer, inseparable. I don't know what our truths will be and whether our truths will draw us together but if it doesn't, I want you to know... that if I were to be born into a cage, again... I'd want you to be there with me, Levi.Yours, Hanji."
And when you're alone for a moment
Et quand tu es seule pendant un instant
pick me up
Ramasse-moiTears clouded his sight, drops landed on the worn letter. "Captain," Onyankopon took notice of his trembling hold on the letter.
Levi set the letter back inside the envelope and chuckled. "Sir?" Levi smiled, leaning back into his chair to watch the darkening blue of the sky. "Ironic... we tried to free ourselves out of a cage... we are free, now... but the cage within me. I cannot free myself from it." Levi clenched his shirt.
when you want
Quand tu voudras
Kiss Me
Embrasse-moi"I've done everything... in my power, so why?" Levi hardened his gaze upon the crumpled envelope. "Why... is my freedom... never mine?" Levi grieved.
when you want
Quand tu voudras
pick me up
Ramasse-moiThe darkness of the room lulled him to sleep, his dream had begun. "Hanji?" Levi sat at a table, watching the tireless woman in glasses write into journals and read various books. "Oi, shitty glasses?" Levi became annoyed by her inattentiveness towards him, "Oi!" He hovered a hand over her glasses to disrupt her genius concentration. "What is it, Levi?" She disinterestedly answered. "Scrub that shit off your glasses... you're starving yourself might as well make the information that enters your head as clear as possible." He scoffed and stood, her laughter offended him. "I was being serious." Levi spat. Hanji hummed and continued to read, his eyes adored the sight.
when you want
Quand tu voudras"I know you were." She sighed, reading. "Oi..." Levi muttered. "Hm?" She peered up. "Levi?" Her eyes widened. "No, you didn't." Tears rolled down his cheeks.
