06. Swiper no Swiping

I DECIDED TO GIVE MYSELF TWO DAYS TO RECUPERATE FOR THIS. Akor had given me a week to steal this necklace so two days is more than enough.
I spent those two days just relaxing and sleeping. By now I had the shower all set up in the R.V. and on the second day had scrubbed myself down. I had practiced a little bit of theft when I stole soap along with shampoo and conditioner from a store.
It's good to get some practice in before I go steal some fancy necklace from a demon.
Akor told me I don't have much to worry about, but I am still worried regardless. I'm stealing from a demon who could kill me or do much worse.
Stealing from a grocery store wouldn't have too many consequences. If it's still the same as before the war, then the most I'd get would be arrested and a slap on the wrist. Demons have different laws though.
I didn't have to wonder if their punishment would be different.
Today was the day. I'd be going out to the demon's gas station and swiping that necklace before dipping.
After I was done with my shower I got out and dried myself off before searching for some clothes to wear.
I had already worn my dress to go see Akor. I would have to go to a laundry mat and get some of dirty laundry clothes here soon. I'm thinking after I get this necklace and some pay; I could go out and get that done.
I'm sure I there is some spare change hanging around in either the R.V. or car somewhere. If it comes to it, I can suck it up and go inside that demon's house to see if they have a washer and dryer.
I had been avoiding doing that for a multitude of reasons. One, it felt wrong to go in the house of someone who I had stabbed to death. Sure, demons may not die typically but I still stabbed this man until he stopped moving. Staying here is pushing it for me.
But it's far out in town and I rarely had to worry about people finding me.
Especially now that I've put those angelic demon blocking symbols up in the R.V. to keep demons out. I felt a bit out of touch when I was scribbling warding symbols across the R.V. with intent.
I had stalked every corner of the internet and Emerson's things to get these symbols. I also stalked T.V. shows and used those symbols and just hoped they'd work.
So far, they've kept demons out.
My only concern would be angels. I hadn't found a thing on how to keep angels out since apparently no one wants to keep angels out. Most people on the internet have them painted as these holies do no wrong beings.
But I had seen Michael. He may have indirectly saved me from Gadreel, but he was terrifying.
And if Gadreel is correct on the whole angel blood hybrid thing, then Michael wouldn't like me. I had read the bible and how God had wiped out the Nephilim after they refused to obey. Now Nephilim are wiped out the moment they are found. Or so legend says.
I'm not a Nephilim. My mom had to have slept with an angel to achieve that and from what I gathered from sources most Nephilim killed their mother on the way out.
Still, I'm not about to try myself with angels to see if they want to kill me.
Right now, I just have to stay on Akor's good side. And steal a valuable necklace.
After long contemplation on what to wear I decided on some long purple sleeve shirt and a pair of leggings. It was comfy which is something I enjoy.
At Akor's I had worn my dress. I didn't wear dresses a lot but for some reason I decided to put that dress on when I visited him at his club to discuss this job.
