The festival was in less than a day and sonic has still yet to find a date to the festival.
This year around, it is pretty common to come to these type of festivals with your crush, date or lover. Sonic had been looking forward to this festival ever since he saw an article about it on the news around 6 months ago, and had been planning to find a date by then. But to no avail, he has yet to secure the bag.
It's less than an hour until the festival, and by this time, sonic had already given up on finding a date and was planning to attend it all alone.
Walking though the streets that were lit by the hundreds of lights which glistened in the moonlight, He felt a rough tap on his shoulder. Sonic turns around to see an out of breath shadow.
"Wait, let me catch my breath." Huffed shadow.
Sonic couldn't help but let out a laugh at such a rare sight, but was also confused what shadow would want with him.
"You're alone on such a festive and romantic night?" Scoffed shadow.
"Oh please, you're one to talk." sonic fought back.
"Come on, I didn't mean it that way you know it."
Shadow stared at sonic with beaming eyes.
"What is it." Sonic confronted. "I mean, seeing as we're both alone, how about I keep you company so you won't drown yourself in sorrows seeing all the couples on the streets." Asked shadow.
"Could you have said that anymore nicely?" Scoffed sonic. "I'll take you up on that offer."
