Waking to a bright light, Raikyr groaned. His body felt stiff and sore. What had happened? His head was pounding and as he sat up, he felt completely disoriented. The last thing he remembered was holding Luna and some sort of white light. Had he hallucinated? Been too drunk to function properly and pass out on his balcony? But then, if he had done that, how in the world did he end up here?

Looking around, Raikyr felt a sense of apprehension and uneasiness. He was in a relatively small room, lying on-top what seemed to be a very poorly made bed. It was scratchy and he felt a little uncomfortable sitting on it. The rest of the room seemed filled with metal boxes. A storage room maybe?

Had he been kidnapped or something? Peeling back the blanket, Raikyr froze, staring down at his body. He had shorts on, but otherwise he was topless and without shoes. Stretching across his stomach was a long, fresh scar and aside from that, a long white cat tail twitched. He freaked, hoping off the bed. The tail followed, puffed up and waving around. His heart raced as he twisted around, noticing the tail was attached to just above his ass. White fur sprawled up his back and around his hips.

Hesitantly Raikyr grabbed the hem of the shorts and pulled them forward, noticing the white fur stretching down his pelvis, yet his penis remained furless. He looked around the room and spotted a dusty mirror. Warily, Raikyr crept over to the mirror and wiped off the dust. He barely recognized himself.

Staring back at him was a lean face, slimmer than he once was. His dark blonde hair had turned stark white and his eyes were slitted, one his normal muddy green, yet the other an albino pink. Where his ears used to be, now took place were matching black-tipped white cat ears.

"What. The. Fuck." He whispered, reaching up to touch the ears and noticing his fingernails were longer and more claw-like than human nails. Uneasiness squirmed in his stomach. What had happened to him? How in the world had this happened to him? Was this some sort of messed up dream?

Raikyr felt his heart beat speed up and his breathing became a bit ragged. He grabbed onto one of the metal boxes and hunched over, putting his head down as he tried to come to terms with everything. He had been standing on his balcony, staring at the stars, and after he saw a shooting star he'd been heading inside. Luna had been in his arms and then there was a blinding light. And now he was waking up here, in an unfamiliar place with not human parts.

Thinking of Luna, Raikyr forced himself to calm down and think logically. He looked back in the mirror and recognized the ears and white fur. He had to have been fused with her by whatever that light had been. He shivered at that thought, but why else would he suddenly have these alterations? He'd been holding her when the light hit and then when he felt weightless, she had been gone. At least he didn't have to worry about her being alone right? But what else did the fusion do to him?

His thoughts were interrupted by a whooshing sound. He turned to the door, very much filled with wariness. Raikyr wanted to believe this was all a dream, but deep down he knew it wasn't. He knew that this was real and his reality. He had wished for something exciting to happen.

"You're awake," The speaker was much taller than Raikyr, and he stood frozen as he stared at the thing that walked in through the door. It was alien, no doubt about it. Despite it's more human-like features, Raikyr felt dwarfed by the thing. The large bat-like ears and horns sticking up from it's dark purple hair were one sign that it wasn't human. The creature's skin was a muted pastel red with slightly dark red stripes. It's hands only had four fingers and a long, wispy tail lazed behind it. It's eyes were a bright pink and it stared at Raikyr curiously. "I hope you're healing well." It said, motioning towards Raikyr's stomach.

Raikyr only stayed still, bile in his throat.

"Right, introductions," spoke the thing. "My name is Braizen, a Voiken from Levnar. You're a human right? But, I don't understand what happened. My ship got your message and when I spotted you, you didn't have all the extra animal parts." Braizen's voice was soft, yet deep. When he spoke, Raikyr could see the dagger like canines of his teeth. He got closer and Raikyr felt a growl in his chest.
