Raikyr had spent the last week with Braizen, learning more about the galactic universe and about aliens in general. It was all quite fascinating and he honestly couldn't care less about no longer being completely human or being abducted. Braizen had kept him entertained with the information about the different races and societal structures, the different type of structures there were. He could just imagine if humans would have been advanced enough, they would be apart of all of this and maybe a better species.

The door opened, jolting Raikyr out of his thoughts. The storage closet was crowded, but Braizen had done his best to make the bed a bit comfier. "We'll be landing at the station in a little bit, the ship is in auto pilot and connected to the motherboard on the planet to land properly. Did you want to come off ship with me when we land?"

Raikyr jumped up, attentive. "Of course! Something finally exciting! No offense, but this trip is very boring." He gave the alien an excited smile and put down the book Braizen had given him to read. The chance to finally go out and do something was extremely tempting so how could he have said no?

Braizen gave a small smile. "You can join me in the cockpit and watch the landing if you wish. The native race of this planet are Yykir, but there's always a wide diversity at landing stations." The red alien led the way back to the front of the ship and sat down in his chair.

The view had changed from the darkness of space to a shockingly bright blue planet that had specks of green and red littering the blue. Raikyr examined the surrounding area of the planet and noticed that there were no moons and he wondered how far away the sun for this planet might be, if it even had one. Did galaxies other than the milkway operate the same or have similar structures?

Raikyr had never been too interested in astronomy before, but that was before he knew all of this existed. He wondered if he could ask Braizen to teach him about it or if he could get books on galactic astronomy and do research. Just imagine if he ever went back to earth with all of his evidence and all of the research. He could be awarded billions and be famous! He could be the start to humans being considered not a pet, which sat wrong with him when he thought about it. How long had humans been being abducted to be pets to an alien race? It just wasn't right.

He watched as the planet came into better view as the ship descended. Two hours was a long time to just stand there so he decided to make his way over to Braizen. Giving the alien a look, he sighed. "Braizen," he said softly. "Can I sit with you?" Almost shyly, his words were soft and he was reminded himself that he used to be so submissive, a follower of his girlfriend and friends, doing whatever they said. They were gone now, he could be himself, but an outspoken person he wasn't. He couldn't find it in himself to just do anything or be assertive.

Raikyr was the type of person who hates confrontation and would rather curl up at home playing games or reading or just browsing on his phone. Well, he didn't have any of that now. Maybe Braizen had a home they would go back to and he'd be able to find stuff that would make this place feel like a home. Could he have a home out in space if humans were considered to be pets?

"In my lap? Yeah, I guess I'll have to get another seat installed for you." Braizen helped Raikyr up into his lap and patted the top of his head.

Raikyr tries not to blush, but he felt comfortable with Braizen. All week he'd spent all of his time with the alien and he had to admit he was hot, by alien standards. Sure he had horns and red skin, but almost everything else was human. He was muscular and sweet and had been patient with all of Raikyr's questions. He couldn't lie and he knew he'd developed a crush on the alien, but he couldn't help it. He was just so . . . Amazing.

Braizen held onto Raikyr, his arms around the human's torso. Raikyr couldn't help but smile. "After I deliver the shipment we can head to the local pet shop and get you some things."
