If you think about it.
Pone guy is the first character your introduced to in just about all games.
He's some what of a good guy and I believe the reason he doesn't care about you or other people is because he's force to because there's some kinda of high power controlling all but he/she has stayed hidden from the public.
Phone guy's death:
It is unknown to who killed phone guy but the real question is what happened to him?
Some say he's on golden Freddy but that can't be true sense golden Freddy was still movable and could attack you before phone guy even died.
So what happens to him?
The owner of the pizzeria could have hid his body forever so that people wouldn't make him/her shut the place down again after the bite of 87.
Maybe phone guy had no friends or family so if he did go missing no one would know.
Sad ;(
