Hazel's pov
I had potions next with professor Snape and I sat next to Draco since Luna didn't have this lesson next.
We were chatting when professor slammed open the doors and walked in, his cloak swaying behind him.
'There will be NO foolish wand waving or silly encantations in this class.' He said slowly as he walked up to the front of the class in front on me and Draco.
'As such,' He continued 'i dont expect many of you to appreciate the subtle science and exact art of potion making, however, to those select few..' He stopped for a moment and looked at draco, who smirked, before continuing.
'Who posses the predous position, I can teach you how to bewitch the mind and how to insnare the senses, I can tell you how to bottle fame,grew, glory and even put a stopper in death.' He stopped and stared at harrry.
'Then again maybe some of you have come to hogwarts in possession of ability so formidable that you feel confident enough to NOT PAY ATTENTION!' Snape yelled at Harry.
Harry's pov
'To NOT PAY ATTENTION!' Professor Snape yelled. Hermione nudged me in the ribs making look up and I realised Snape was shouting at me.
'Mister potter, our new celebrity, tell me what would I get if I added powderd roots of an asmonedel to an ifusion of wormwood?'
Hermione's and Hazel's hand both shot up. I shook my head slightly and snap said 'you don't know? Well let's try again WHERE Mister potter would you look if I asked you to find m3 a bezor?'
'I-i don't know sir.' I stuttered.
'And what is the difference of Monkswood and wolfs-bane?' He asked again.
'I dont know sir' I said again.
'Pity. Clearly fame isn't everything'
'Clearly HERMIONE and HAZEL both know seems a pity not to ask one of them.'
Everyone started giggling until Snape shut them up. Snape walked up to the front of the class and back down to me telling hazel and hermione to both put their hand down. He bended down in front of me and said slowly
'For your information asphodel and wormwood make a sleeping potion so powerful it is known as the 'draft of the living dead' A bezor is a stone that is taken from the stomach of a goat and can save you from most potions, as for Monkswood and wolfs-bane, they are the same plant which also goes as the name acine....WELL WHY ARNT YOU ALL COPING THIS DOWN!'
Everyone starts writing suddenly with their quills and ink as Snape looked at me once more before walking away. I glared at him as he said 'And Griffindors, note that 5 points will be taken from you house. For classroom cheek.'
I saw Malfoy turn around and smirk at me before going back to talk with Hazel.
Hermione gave me a look and went back to writing and then Snape looked up and glared at me, when he looked back down a glared back at him and continued writing.
