LUKE DIDN'T KNOW for how long he'd been asleep for but his whole body jerked awake upon Eden's touch, gently trying to wake him. He'd had the worst sleep in a while, dreaming of Alvin's lifeless body, of Pete's deformed carcass and the hell they've been through in the matter of less than two weeks.

The first thing he saw were Eden's dark orbs, looking apologetically down at him. "Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you," she said. "But something's going on outside."

"Huh?" Luke mumbled, rubbing his tired eyes. He needed a minute to collect himself and clear his head of his nightmares before he responded, "Nah, it's fine. What's going on?"

"I think I saw Kenny and some other guy. Must've been Kenny the way he's been swearing," she told. "Clem was with them."

At that, Luke immediately grew more awake and sat up straight, ignoring the pain shooting up his back. "You saw them? You sure?"

Eden stood in the middle of the room, always keeping a look out of the window in order to not miss her opportunity to talk to someone – especially Clem. "You think I wouldn't recognize Clem?" She countered Luke's question, cocking a brow. "Yes, I'm sure."

"So where were they going?" Luke asked as he tried to get up. Just then he noticed how weak he was feeling, struggling to get back on his feet.

Not commenting on the state he was in and just eyeing him worriedly, Eden walked over and offered him her hand in order to help him up. "I think they're inside the shop right next door," she pointed towards their right. "Looks like they're renovating something there. Maybe when one of them comes back and we're really quick, we could grab them."

"We need a plan first," Luke interjected. "We can't risk blowing our cover for nothing."

Unhappy about not stepping into action right at this moment, Eden questioned, "So, you got any plans, Einstein?"

"Actually... yeah. You saw the walkies all those guards carry with them? I saw it through the binoculars."

Eden nodded, silently assuring him that she knew what he was talking about. She'd seen one of the guards talking through one on the roof.

"They used those while we were locked up in here, too. A lot of our people had those."

Intrigued, she looked at him. She knew where his plan was going and liked the idea. "You had one, too?"

"Nah, Carver hated my guts," Luke scoffed. "He didn't even wanna give me a toothbrush when he handed them out to everybody once. Said I was pretty enough already."
