Ivan's POV
DING DING DING DING
I grumbled as I reach over and turned my alarm off. It was 3AM and we had to get a heads start.
God I'm so broken right now, today I have to send Alex back home and I don't know when I'll get to see her again.

I whispered to Alex, "doll, we have to go" as she slowly started to sit up.
"I can't do this babe " she whispered as she hugged me.
"I can't either babe, I know " I whispered giving her a long kiss before we both slowly climb out of bed.

I went to brush my teeth while she grabbed her backpack. Watching her leave was like watching someone you cherish jump off a building, it was horribly difficult .

Once I exited the bathroom, I saw that Alex was all set and ready to go.
"Ready doll ?" I mumbled in sadness,
"I can't walk down there, I just want to feel you're arms around me again ." She said about to start crying.

I held back the tears as I picked up her small body and slowly carried her downstairs and all the way to the car.
Chris could care less about me using his truck, especially for something like this.

I unlocked the passenger door and set Alex down. I looked up at her as she cupped my face and kissed me passionately.
"God Ivan " she whispered as a tear fell from her face.
I was about to fall apart if I kept staring at her sadden face, so I rubbed her cheek before I closed her door.

I made my way to the driver's side and climbed in, I started the truck and slowly pulled out of my driveway.
"Music " she whispered, "you choose whatever you want doll " I barely said as I could see from the corner of my eye that she was pulling out a cd.

I didn't see which cd it cause I have to focus on the road, but I knew whatever song this was that it'd always remind me of this day.
The day we had to say goodbye ......

"Once upon a time, I swore I had a heart" I heard my voice.
She was playing "Battle Born " it was one of our more emotional songs, and now this song will always remind me of this.

I kept my eyes on the road but slipped my right hand over to Alex's hand.
She didn't look at me either but in some way I'm glad she didn't.

God this was so hard.

About a half hour later we arrived at the denver airport.
I paid for parking and found a spot .
Alex grabbed her backpack and climbed out before me.

Right before I turned the truck off, I grabbed her cd. I think she'd be happy to have it.

I grabbed the keys, locked the door, and walked towards Alex.
"Doll ?" I held the cd up,
"Can and I get an autograph first ?" She asked giving me a sharpie while staring at the ground in pure sadness.

"Baby " I quickly signed the cd as she put it in her bag and grabbed my hand.
We walked together all the way to the entrance and made our way to security.
