Chapter 12 - Just Like The Story

Location - Shirasagi Residence, Dining Room

Your POV

Last time, Chisato and I were hanging out at my house for a few hours.  She asked me about my path to becoming a writer, then she cuddled on the couch in silence for a while. After sometime, Chisato got a text message from her father, saying she should come home as soon as possible.

This gives Chisato the idea of me coming over to meet her family. I was unsure about meeting them at first, but Chisato kept on insisting on it, so I ended up going along with it.  So far, I've met her mother, who was really sweet. Chisato asked where her dad was, but he said he was busy in his study, so she called down her little sister and me meet her instead.

"Onee-chan, who is this?" She asked.

"Haruka, this is (Y/N) (L/N), my boyfriend." Chisato replied.

Her eyes began to lit up with excitement.

"Wow, so you're the boyfriend I've heard so much about!" She said excitedly.

"Yeah, I guess you can say that... hehe."

"Well, it's really nice to meet you. My name is Shirasagi Haruka." She said and offered her hand for a handshake.

"Nice to meet you too, Haruka." I said and shook her hand in return.

"You know, my onee-chan talks about you a lot." Haruka said with a teasing grin.

Chisato began to blush a little.

"Haruka... he doesn't need to know all of that." She said.

"Oh come on, I think he would like to know how crazy you are about him." Haruka smirked.

"You were crazy about me?" I asked as I looked at Chisato.

"Well, I... Umm..." Chisato tried to speak, but she was thankful that her mom came to her rescue.

"Now now, Haruka, no need to tease your sister like that." She said.

"Alright..."

Just then, someone else enters the living room. It was an older man who had an imitating look. I guess this is her father.

"Ah, Chisato, it's good to have you home." He said.

"Yeah, father, and I brought my boyfriend over with me." Chisato said and hugged my arm.

The man looked at me, and I felt my colors drained from his stare.

"So... you must be the (Y/N) I heard so much about, am I right?" He asked.

"Yes, sir, and it is honor to meet you." I said as I tried to reach out my hand for a handshake, but he turned it down.

"Don't get any ideas!" He said. "Just because my daughter likes you, doesn't mean that I do."

"O-Oh."

"You make sure to keep your distance, and we won't have any problems, do I make myself clear?" He asked.

"Y-Yes sir, I promise." I said, starting to become nervous and scared.

"Good." He said before walking away.

"Don't worry about my father, he means well." Chisato said.

"Are you sure?" I asked. "It sounds like he didn't want me to be here."
