Chapter 8 - Making Things Right

Same day...

Location - Nyubara Residence, Pareo's Room

Chisato's POV

The girls and I hopped on the train to get to Pareo's house. We had no idea that she lived so far away, so by the time we got there, the sun was already setting. We knocked on the door and her mother, who answered the door, was kind enough to let us in and guided us to Pareo's room.

We got there, and I took a deep breath and knocked on the door. It opened and there was Pareo, looking like a completely different person. I guess this is what she looks like when she's not with RAS.

"Huh?! Chisato-chan?! And the rest of the Pastel*Palettes girls?!" She exclaimed in a panic.

"Hello, Pareo-chan." I said. "May we come in and talk for a moment?"

"Yes, of course." She smiled.

We walked inside and we were speechless to say the least. Everywhere we look nothing but Pastel*Palettes merch.

"Hahaha, Pareo-chan, you're quite the fan, aren't you?" Hina asked.

"Yes. Pastel*Palettes give me strength." She said and gave me a sweet smile.

"Aww, that makes me so happy." Aya said as tears began to fill her eyes.

"Aya-san, there's no need to cry." Eve said.

"So, what brings you all here?" Pareo finally asked. "I didn't think you guys would actually show up."

"Pareo-chan..." I said and moved closer to her.

"Y-Yes?"

"I'm sorry."

"Huh?!"

"I'm sorry for stealing (Y/N)-kun away from you." I said.

"Oh, that..." She said before looking away. I knew it, she's still mad at me.

"I never meant to destory your guys' friendship." I said.

"But... I want to know why you did it?" She replied. "The real you wouldn't do this without a reason, right?"

"Well, there is, but..."

"But?"

The room feel silent. Everyone was staring at me, expecting me to have a good reason for my actions. My heart was racing like crazy. But I have to say it.

"Because... I'm in love."

"In love?"

"With (Y/N)-kun..."

"Nani?!" Everyone exclaimed at once.

The atmosphere of the room began to change. No one had expecting me to say something like that. After a while, Pareo spoke up again.

"So... the reason why you destoryed our friendship, is because you're in love with my best friend?" She asked.

"Yeah... That sounds like a stupid reason, doesn't it?"

Pareo began to chuckle, leaving all of us confused.

"Something wrong, Pareo-san?" Maya asked.

"Sorry, I just thought I would never see the day where anyone would be in love with my best friend." She said.

"Are you saying the first?" Aya asked.

"Yeah, the (Y/N)-kun I grew up with was always shy and awkward. He wouldn't hangout with anyone other than me." She said.

"Really? I had no idea." I said.

"And looking back, I'm glad I introduced him to Pastel*Palettes, it made me more socialable than ever." She smiled.

"I see..."

"So Chisato-san, if you told me that you were in love with (Y/N)-kun, you should've told me, and I would be happy to help you."

"You would do that for me?"

"Of course!" She smiled again.

I guess it's safe to assume that Pareo has forgiven me now, but the only thing that can cure my broken heart is (Y/N) himself, but that's easier said than done.

"Thanks Pareo-chan, now the only thing left to do is make amends with (Y/N)-kun." I said.

"I think we can help out, right?" Pareo said before looking at my band members.

"Of course we'll help." Aya said.

"Things were more boppin' whenever (Y/N)-kun was around." Hina said.

"I want to help out as much as I can." Maya said.

"We'll bring him back with our bushido spirit!" Eve said.

"Thanks, everyone."

"So, shall we get started then?" Pareo asked.

"Yes. Let's do it."

Location - (L/N) Residence, (Y/N)'s Room

Your POV

After everything that happened with Chisato, I mostly just stayed in my room, not wanting to come out. I've been trying to see if Reona was mad at me, but she wouldn't answer me. At that moment, I began to lose hope. If Reona won't talk to me again, then what's the point in being alive?

My phone began to buzz. Someone left me a text message. I looked at it and saw that it was from Chisato.

Chisato's text: I know you hate me right now, but can you at least hear me out?

I thought about it for a while and I guess it couldn't to hear her out.

Your text: Sure. What is it?

Chisato's text: I'm sorry for everything that happened. I never meant to destory the friendship you and Reona had for so long.

Well, at least she admitted what she did was wrong. All the same, it might take me a while for me to forgive her.

Your text: Oh, I see.

Chisato's text: Let me make it up to you. Please.

Your text: How would you do that?

Chisato's text: Come to the talent agency tonight. If you don't like it, then you can continue to hate me as much as you want.

I should've said no to this offer, but I was a bit curious about what she's planning.

Your text: Sure. How soon do I need to be there?

Chisato's text: As soon as you can, please.

Your text: As you wish.
