Chapter 4 : Porcupine

[3rd POV]

1 week passed since (Y/N) arrived in the sort of mansion and she adapted pretty quickly to the attitude of Gojo Satoru even if he wasn't home all the time. Today he informed (Y/N) that she will be tested on her cursed energy abilities and the day after she will go meet the provisor of Tokyo's sorcerer school for her admission.

[(Y/N)'s POV]

"Why he isn't here ?" I said with annoyance and then someone popped right in front of me. Ah, I said nothing. Well, I want to make him understand I'll be a high-ranked sorcerer graded 1 minimum. I got the swag already to be seen like a powerful sorcerer so It's gonna be a piece of cake to access that level with my power!

"So today we're gonna check your level of expertise in exorcism but first I want you to meet your partner for this mini adventure and the one you're gonna fight against first!" Gojo said pointing his finger at the boy that looked like a porcupine in a depression phase, who was sweeping the floor.

"Heh? Who's that ?" I asked.

"Fushiguro Megumi, a future first year like you! He's sweeping the floor because he lost a bet against Marie Joséphine. HEY! Megumi come here!" Gojo said with joy.

The boy approached us letting his broom against a commode. He seems kind of dead inside not gonna lie but that man looks a lil too fine. He's a bit tall for his age too. Hmmm, I like it. Let's get this pretty boy on the floor like JLo. And I'm gonna make him cry like a baby after the Air K.O I'm going to give him. I looked at him and smiled "Hi! My name is (L/N) (Y/N),nice to meet you!"

He looked at me with a stare of someone who lost his parents, his house, his sister and his friends. "Hi. Nice to meet you too." he said.

Damn. That bitch didn't care at all. That the first time a boy didn't smiled at me. I'm impressed and scared. I shouldn't be so plain of myself then... But he ain't gonna stop me from slaying everything whatever happens. Is he so cold with every people he meets? He's pretty but I now don't like him. He seems sassy.

"Well now everyone has met... You two follow me please!" Gojo concluded, bringing us in the garden. "Here! We're gonna assist to an incredible battle in the enclosure of the FHGF! BETWEEN! (L/N) (Y/N) the newbie AND! Megumi Fushiguro the sweeper!"

I moved to go to the center of the garden, and the sweeper followed me. He took place in front of me getting in a combat position. I took the same position and looked at Gojo giving an 'I'm ready' look. I put my gaze on the boy in front of me. I gonna destroy his ass, for John Cena and JLo.

Gojo gave the start and I won instantly...

That's what I wanted to do but... I'm on my back. On the ground. In pain. Because... I took an Air K.O. I was lying on the ground looking at the sky, thinking of John. My spirit animal John Cena who would be so disappointed to see me on the ground due to the technique I wanted to use. Even if  that hurt a little I stood up and retook my position. The porcupine was good. I decided, since it seems like I can't win over him in close up physical combat, I'll use my cursed energy and throw him some pretty rocks in his face.

"STOP!" Gojo screamed. "Megumi wins!" he said.

Right when I was going to destroy him... "Why do he wins? It was a the first on the floor loose? Seriously..." I said disappointed. Let say I will maybe have grade 2! Believe, believe in our dreams...

"That's okay (Y/N) you'll have an other opportunity to show your capacities, riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight now!" on that he teleported us in front of abandoned house. In the house we clearly sensed a curse. It's time to show my talent for exorcism I guess.

"So (Y/N) I think you know what you need to do, I won't help you and Megumi either, he'll be with you just in case you're in great danger." I nodded at what Gojo said and start running toward the front door of the house. I'm on the ball!

I opened the door and peak a look inside, everything was dark, the aura of the interior gloomy and decay. I took the first step Megumi behind me still had his resting bitch face. "I'll be waiting on the couch here so if you're in danger scream." he said.

That bitch.

I decided to go check in the kitchen where the aura seemed more uncomfortable. As expected there's a curse but not too strong tho, grade 3 maximum I think. It was looking at the ground saying 'Vamos a la playa...la plage...' a weird sentence for a curse. I took the knife that was on the table next to me, charged it with my energy and looked at the curse. I'll begin with a simple technique I learned with the help of Phillipe. "Simple Domain."

This one even though we were in a big city was really dumb. It dashed toward me and... Finished.

Megumi was behind me looking at me. "Good job" he said.

"Well thanks." I responded.
