Chapter 34

I run over to her and enclose her in a hug.

"I love you" I say meaning it

"You too" she smiles kissing my cheek, I let go.

before I do let go I whisper "I thought you were dead."

"So did i" she says, then we walk over to our seats she ordered a drink. after 5 minutes of deciding what we were eating we ordered.

Then we just spoke for ages and ages. about everything. mainly how my mum was and what had happened over the past year. why she didn't contact, also how Michael and Lucy have been, what they are doing in the future.

Then we spoke about Rosa's past and then she told them it was thanks to me she met the love of her life and how they were.

It was a perfect night and I was so happy to have my mum back. I thought I'd never see her again. She's staying at our apartment as she has no where else to go.

We get a taxi home which was boring as no one was talking.

"My baby" I cry walking through the doors seeing the baby sitter with Ross In her arms.

"How were they?" I ask

"They were lovely until a few minutes ago Ross started crying but Rosa is sound asleep." she says grabbing her bags.

"Thank you, bye" I say as she walks through the door.

We all decided to go to sleep as we were all pissed of our heads and we're going to dread the morning.

"Alexis" Dan mumbled

"I'm not Alexis?" I question, "wait are you sleeping?" No reply so I guess he is.

"I'm sorry" he mumbles "I love her" "I never meant to hurt you"

I rolled over trying to cover my ears I didn't want to hear about Alexis and how he still loves her. even though it's been over 3 years now. I didn't know her but damn I hated her.

I know it's not her fault she died but I had to fix Dan when I was broken myself and he always talks about her in his sleep like he never says anything about me, just her. the girl who died rather than the one breathing right next to him.

Ugh. just sleep Dani it's not worth it. of course he's gonna love her they were perfect together as I've been told but he's mine now not hers.

Why am i getting so jealous of someone who's dead? And he will never see again.

"Hello" someone says

"Who are you?" I ask

"Someone, who's gone" she smirks

"How'd you get into my house?" I ask

"Well that's a perk of being dead, you don't need doors." she says

"Alexis?"

"That's me. the one and only" she laughs "I don't know why your worrying about me, honestly he's with you. I talk to him in his sleep like I am with you right now" she says "Dan loves you."

"I love him"

"I know you do, I see it in you. no need to be scared of the future just embrace it" with that she disappeared. I gasped for air waking me up.

Thank fuck that was a dream.
